Private Pool Retreat in Gated Estate

Nestled in the rain forest, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a small, gated community, is the lovely 4 bed/5 bath estate home, Casa Bamboo.

Casa Bamboo is only a short walk to the bus stop, restaurants, shops, spas, a gym, boutique stores, and much more, the house is ideally situated in the heart of Manuel Antonio's residential district.

The main house is over 3500 sq ft of living space. The ground floor is open living, dining and kitchen with sliding glass doors to the pool and deck. There is a master bedroom with king bed and en-suite bath and a second bedroom with two double beds, en-suite bathroom and more sliding glass doors opening onto the pool. The only staircase, which is external to the home, takes you directly up to the second floor where you are greeted by a large open concept lanai.

Upstairs is an ample balcony overlooking the pool for lounging and dining. It is fully furnished with comfortable sofa and chairs, and a beautiful teak dining table with seating for 10. Through etched glass doors are the TV room, full bathroom, and main kitchen, complete with beautiful quartz countertop, stainless steel appliances, and breakfast bar with stools. The two bedrooms on this floor are on either side of the living area for extra privacy. Both have king size beds, and the Master has en-suite bathroom. Air conditioning is provided in all bedrooms while the rest of the house features open air in social areas.

The spacious downstairs terrace has a large pool with playful dolphin mosaic, outdoor shower, and Jacuzzi. Outfitted with a gas BBQ , teak lounge chairs, as well as teak dining table with umbrella, this area is perfect for pool-side relaxing and entertaining.

Casa Bamboo embodies the concept of indoor-outdoor living- guests can gaze out into the rainforest from everywhere in the house and enjoy the giant bamboo from which the villa gets it's name, bromeliads, mango, and of course the jungle wildlife, while listening to the babbling brook just beyond.

When booking with us, you will get free concierge service. Concierge can help you with private airport transportation, chef services, massages, tours, reservations or anything else you might need during your stay. You also get housekeeping service, with the exception of Sunday, to include laundry service. There is also a team that comes throughout the week to maintain the pool and the grounds. Casa Bamboo also has a Guest House on the property that can be added for a fee which can sleep up to an additional 4 people for a total of 14 guests. House Rules:

1. A signed and fully completed rental agreement (with names and ages) with photo ID is required within 24 hours of booking. Person signing and staying must be at least 25 yrs old. No unregistered guest (must be on rental agreement) at anytime.

2. $500 Security Deposit Hold is required. A $37 one time Admin fee is included with all bookings. Quiet hrs strictly enforced from 8pm-6am.

3. Guests are responsible for locking all doors/windows in the villa when they are absent - safeguarding its contents, including guests' personal items.

4. I understand that because Costa Rica is a developing nation and can have torrential rain storms during rainy season, sometimes you will loose power. This is not unusual. Although it does not happen often, when it does it could be a few minutes or a couple hours. Do not be alarmed. There are emergency flashlights around the house for your use and you can contact your concierge if you have any questions. No refunds are given for acts of God.

5. I understand that the home is open air except for the bedrooms which have AC. The AC is fitted for the bedrooms only so the bedroom doors should never be left open. Additionally the AC should not be left running while no one is in the room.

6. Third party travel insurance is required to cover any cancellations outside of our cancellation policy.

7. No pets, smoking, loud music, commercial photography, parties or events

8. Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

Our property is located in a natural setting, which means guests may encounter insects (such as ants, mosquitoes, or spiders) and possibly wildlife (including snakes, lizards, or other native animals). We take precautions to minimize such encounters, but interactions with local flora and fauna are part of the experience.
