Gorgeous Views of Pacific and Rainforest

  • If you are looking for a secluded location, 300 feet off the main road look no further.
    Enjoy spectacular ocean views, wildlife, all from your 250 sq ft private veranda while still receiving the service and amenities you would from a high class hotel. Relax in the pool or enjoy a fabulous meal at our ocean-view restaurant, or indulge in the spa and yoga studio next door.
    This unit features one queen bed in bedroom and on the veranda there is plenty of seating a hammock and another TV. There is a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, A/C, ceiling fans and flat screen TV. The bathroom has a indoor/outdoor shower. Approx 500 square feet. Sleeps 2. rates vary per season from $79-$109.

Amazing view and great location!

Perfect location to go with the perfect view! Room was simple, but patio area with view was incredible! Great location for restaurants, national park, and the beach! We walked twice to the beach and back. It is a trek back uphill but we are pretty active and it wasn’t too bad! Go ahead and book this property!

The view was quite nice. Nearby construction was very noisy. Really liked all the good information you sent in advance! Agua Azul restaurant next door has good views, good food and very nice staff.

Superbe view and great location

Great place for a nice couple's retreat in the jungle but right in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Although a bit dated, we were comfortable at this place. Henry, the caretaker was always available for help or recommendations. Bed would be due for a refresh - but otherwise we enjoyed our time spent here.

Just as advertised

We enjoyed our stay at this location, it was so convenient to local shops, market, and the local bus line, so unless you need to leave the area, the bus takes you into Quepos and into Manuael Antonio park, don't need a car. Richard's tips were invaluable, so make sure you read them before you come. Communication to the owners and to the property manager were also easy. Would stay there again.

The property is very much as described. It has beautiful views and a great outdoor sitting area. The property manager was helpful in giving suggestions. The bed is small and the pillows are pretty flat, but the mattress is pretty comfortable. The unit could use some updating overall, but it was great to have a place with hot water, air conditioning, and so close to everything.

Relax and enjoy the view

Such a great room with a gorgeous patio view! The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious but the highlight is the outdoor patio! We saw all the exotic birds, monkeys, butterflies and gorgeous sunsets while relaxing in the hammock just outside the bedroom. It’s a beautiful view of the ocean and walking distance from so many restaurants, pharmacy, grocery and even the Espadilla beach, if you don’t mind a decent hike. The property owners and manager were very attentive. It was perfect and I hope to come back again!

Small but cute and perfect for our stay

Pretty basic: bedroom, bath, outside covered deck, coffeemaker, small fridge. The view is stunning, it’s situated really well on the top of the hill with lots of really good restaurants all around. We ended up taking the bus down to the beach one day just hanging out, renting an umbrella and lounges and drinks and swimming reading. One day by the pool painting, reading, swimming. We did a fun catamaran cruise with snorkeling and dinner. Not too big about maybe 20 people, great crew, good simple meal. Henry (the VRBO property manager helped arrange it.

The property managers/owners were very helpful and responsive. The view is stunning and the area is very walkable. Everything you need is closeby. I never used the pool, but instead I walked down to Ecotica to use theirs which was in the shade (20$ daypass). The indoor outdoor shower was wonderful but the private patio area was the best part. The view from the hammock was beautiful. Although you are in the jungle there are barely any bugs due to the lizards eating them all. I loved having them in my room and balcony ready to eat anything that flies. I also saw monkeys in the trees nearby. Richard’s tips were spot on too.

Would give 4.5/5. Great view and outdoor seating. Felt clean, comfortable, and safe. Very much as described. Easy communication with Henry. He was able to help with all our questions, including getting a taxi for us to the airport. We used the bus to use the public beach daily. We ate at the local recommended spots, which were good. Enjoyed having a mini fridge for beer, snacks, and left overs. A/C worked great! Only downside is it could use some updates for the cost (mainly the bathroom) but I didn't think this was a surprise (this is easily seen in the pictures online). Overall, would come again for sure!

Wow - Richard, Anna and Henry, the A team! So sweet and helpful every step of the way! I didn’t have an itinerary and mentioned it to Henry he proceeded to make every reservation and made my trip in Costa Rica THE BEST!! Just WOW!! The room was perfect! Love the outside living area, very private and I could see and hear all the birds and animals including Toucans and Mcaws flying bye. Gorgeous view of the ocean and the rocks. Loved taking my shower inside but feeling like it was outside that was another bonus I didn’t expect. The location was perfect It is close to wonderful restaurants, store, bus stop… Thanks again if I ever go go Costa Rica again I will definitely want to stay there again!

This is an Old Condo Complex Pearched Sea Side Main Hwy Local Amenities, A Mini Store, a Bank With Working ATM Some Food and Shops To Wander into Public Bus Service at 385 Colone (1.00) Each Trip, Runs Almost Twice an Hr Quepos To Beach End Manuel Antonio and Return Great Views Off Outdoor Living Patio Area, Small Geckos and Few Bugs, Nice That CR Has Few Flys or Mozzies In Feb. But Feb I Find is Now Too Hot For Me, 32c Daily With Almost No Breeze on Balcony, Not a Place One Can Stay All Day What The Place Requires is Investment in a 42" Smart Television, I Was Sick a Couple Days and Would Have Enjoyed an Option of TV "With English" Ability...Small Owner nvestment??? AC Worked in Bedroom Thk Goodness Whole Property is Very Dated I Suppose For Price, Its The Norm for 2 Star Accomidations Found Most Places in CR Would Not Stay Again, Because I Prefer and Better Update With Newer Standards....Cheers

Wonderful location

As advertised…View was outstanding, bed comfortable and a/c worked great. Felt very safe and secure, convenient to buses, banks and stores. Worth mentioning are there are a good number of stair steps from the pool to the room…provided quite the work out! All in all very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and convenient location!

Anna and Richard provide a beautiful and convenient location in the Manuel Antonio area to easily access all the fun activities to enjoy nearby! The national park and local free beach are right down the road and very easy to get to by bus. The vacation property is right next door to both a drugstore and a delicious restaurant called Agua Azul. You will find all the essentials you need in and around the property!

Great view and convenient location

Easy to rent, we had a little issue with the host on arrival. The cooking arrangements were minimal- just a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. Great places to eat in the area though and the view from the deck was fantastic. Quite convenient to Manual Antonio National Park.

Amazing views and great location!

We had a great time at Richard and Anna's place. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the deck was a perfect place for views of jungle and ocean. Imagine watching the sunrise/sunset with a beverage or relaxing in the hammock while birds fly overhead and monkeys play in the trees... Good restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to parks and beaches. There is some noise from local restaurants but the apartment is still super private. Would book again for sure!

Great time

We had a nice time at Anna and Richards villa! The view is breathtaking, everything is close. Walking distance to all restaurants. A few beautiful beaches 10 minutes drive. You don’t need a car. A bus or a taxi is easy and hustle free. I was with my 6 year old son. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend this place!
