Very friendly and helpful staff and comfortable room. Please have cleaners check toilets etc as mine was leaking water from cistern into pan and making a noise in the quiet of night.

My Husband and I were here overnight. Room was clean and comfortable, reasonably roomy. Clean bathroom but shower was a bit odd. Couldn't adjust shower head so had to use it as hand held. Close to town. Check in was easy.

Bed was ok. It felt like there might be an electric blanket, but nothing was plugged into the wall. I don’t think there is a switch for the old heater on the bathroom wall - a leftover from when this was a nursing home? Nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom (except a small hook over the toilet). Aircon was good. TV ok. The wardrobe smelled ‘manly’ - lots of tradies/drive in-drive out workers/train drivers stay at the hotel. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were adequate for a short stay (there’s no room cleaning/housekeeping on weekends). Whilst reception was locked when I arrived at about 4pm, staff turned up as soon as I phoned them. I think I would have got much better value staying at another motel I had been considering
