Tremendous views, nice rooms plenty of bathrooms

Overall very nice. would stay again and would recommend to anyone. Close to too a lot of restaurants and across from the park.

Best location in Quito

The location across from parque la Carolina and the property were what we had been looking for. Security and lobby area were managed well. The condo unit had an ideal view of the area. Our only issue was that it was dirty around floors. It appeared to have had a party before us and not cleaned well.

I requested a full refund for my reservation because the property wrongfully denied me entry, despite my full compliance with all requirements communicated by the host. Before my arrival, the host contacted me through WhatsApp and informed me of an additional charge of $40 per 4 nights for each extra person. I agreed to this charge immediately. The host also requested the IDs of all guests, which I provided in advance. Upon arrival, I spent 45 minutes searching for the property because the building name listed on Expedia does not match the actual building name. When I finally located the building, the security staff informed me they had no record of my reservation. I showed them the WhatsApp messages, and only after the guard contacted the host directly did they acknowledge my booking. Even after acknowledging the reservation, the host refused to allow me to check in. Their first reason was the number of guests, even though I had already agreed to pay the extra charges. To resolve the issue peacefully, I agreed to proceed with the reservation for only five guests, leaving other family members to find alternative lodging. The host still refused entry. The host then claimed they needed the IDs, despite the fact that I had already sent all IDs via WhatsApp and presented them again at the building to security. At no point did the host provide a legitimate reason for denying access to the apartment. As a result of the property’s actions, I was left stranded with kids at night….

Nice property but BAD EXPERIENCE

Let’s start by describing the poor communication the owner provided. We attempted to contact him for details 2 days prior to our arrival with no response. We eventually got him by calling the number listed on the app via WhatsApp. Upon our arrival, the service offered by the building staff was horrendous. They were unable to provide us with clear directions to get into the garage. If it wouldn’t have been for a building resident, we would have never been able to find the garage. Afterward, the guard did not change the elevator access to the floor. Another resident had to provide us instructions and explained that unless the guard gave us access, the elevator won’t go to the 10th floor. When we finally got in, we found that the apartment was not clean. The carpet had dirt and crumbs all over it. The bathroom had dirt on the walls. The laundry area had a terrible smell. The master bathroom did not have hot water. And finally, our car got scratched all over the driver side. It was clearly while it was parked at the garage, since it was not moved during our stay. We spoke with the property owner who claimed not to be in the city and requested for us to return to Quito after we had already left. Overall, this was a bad experience. ESPAÑOL En primer lugar, comencemos por describir la mala comunicación del dueño. Tratamos de escribir antes de nuestro viaje pero no hubo respuesta. El final lo conseguimos al llamarlo por whatsApp al número en el profile. Otro problema significante fue el personal del edificio quien no saben hacer su trabajo. El guardia fue incapaz de darnos direcciones para el garaje y darnos acceso al apartamento. Si no hubiera sido para un residente del edificio, nunca habríamos podido encontrar el garaje o ingresado al apartamento. Cuando finalmente entramos al apartamento, encontramos que el apartamento no estaba limpio. Había basura en la alfombra y los baños. La zona de lavandería tenía un olor terrible. El baño principal no tenía agua caliente. Y por último, alguien rascó nuestro carro en el lado del conductor. Nuestro carro estuvo aparcado en el garaje por todo el tiempo de nuestra estadía. Hablamos con el dueño de la propiedad quien afirmó no estar en la ciudad y nos pidió que regresáramos a Quito después de que ya nos hubiéramos ido. En general, esta NO fue una buena experiencia.

Huge apartment with Sweeping Views of Quito! Superb Location!

While there are few reviews on VRBO, this is a very popular unit that is often rented elsewhere. This unit has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has two sets of large wardrobe closets with buillt-in drawers for accommodating LOTS of storage. Each bedroom has similar closets and their own wall-mounted Smart TV. The apartment is sparking clean and is professionally cleaned by their dedicated staff of housekeepers between stays. This unit on the 11th floor has spectacular 180-degree views of the Parque de Carolina and views of the surrounding city. The park below is a safe and popular place for walking and running. Perfect outdoor space for getting some high-altitude workouts. The full-sized kitchen has all the basics you'd need for a vacation stay. Lots of great coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk. Easy check-in and checkout with keys through the 24/7 managed lobby security desk. Highly recommend! Ivan is an incredibly helpful host,

Great location, killer views, pristine spot

This place in in an ideal location overlooking the central Quito park -Parque Carolina. There is wifi and TVs in each room. Access to the rooftop loft is easy at any time. We plan to come back.

Awesome view and location!

The location of this property was perfect for what we were looking for. Large park across the street. Many places to eat nearby. The Quicentro Mall was just a 10 minute walk down the street. But best of all was the view of the park and the mountains across the way. That gets a 10 out of 10!

Spectacular view

The view dominates the experience., ever changing landscape. Great location: The park, Botanical gardens, lots of places to eat nearby. Ivan gave us wonderful recommendations where to eat and what places to visit. We felt safe and cared for. I hope to come back one day.

We had a great stay in this unit.. Many sights were either walking distance or a short cab ride away. There is also a lot of great food nearby. Ivan helped arrange a couple of really fun outings for us, one to Baños and another to Papallacta. All of those things plus beginning and ending the day with a gorgeous view made our trip special. We'd definitely stay here again!
