The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Hotel Las Plazas. We really appreciated how attentive the whole staff (family) were to our needs, including scheduling of transfers. We loved the breakfasts and the explanations of the local foods and fruits.

A fine and warmly family operated old building tastefully updated to meet the needs of travelers visiting the area. And just an easy block and a half walk from the Plaza Grande; what more could you ask for? looking hard to find something to fault, the only thing I can think of is that the showerhead was a little difficult to reach in order to direct the flow of water. I hope that Lucia and her son Luis will be there to welcome me when I next visit their fair city.

This hotel was clean, safe, conveniently located to main tourist attractions plenty of shopping and dining options. Staff was amazing receptionist fluent in English included a delicious breakfast the rooms were very clean, incredible staff and beautiful rooftop deck.

We had a very nice stay at Casa Hotel Las Plazas! Lucia and Luis were very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. It was good value for the area and convenient to walk to many sites and restaurants. We would stay here again!

Great hotel in downtown Quito

This is a great hotel located in the historic center of Quito. The personnel are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. They assisted us with airport pick-up and drop-off at a reasonable price and organized local sightseeing trips.

Very accommodating, helpful friendly people. Airport transport was there waiting for us. Beautiful hotel. Nice breakfast of fruit, bread, potatoes (we are vegan and they made it work for us) juice, coffee. Very secure and safe hotel. Great location 3 min walk to sites. Close restaurants. Loved our stay.

Friendly hotel in Quito

We stayed at this hotel twice, before and after our trip to the Galapagos Islands. It is a great place to stay in the historic center of Quito. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. On the day of our arrival, the city center was closed for a sporting event, and they sent personnel to pick us up several blocks from the hotel and help move our belongings.

This Quito stay was exceptional. Luisa, Luis and staff made everything very comfortable and easy during our 3night stay in June. Breakfast was always fresh. Great and economical hotel near every thing. Great owners and excellent breakfast. They are very helpful and accommodating. The owner prepared for us a breakfast because we had an early tour. The only thing I would have like is a chair in the room. I would definitely recommend the establishment to friends staying in Quito.

Accommodating Staff/Charming Room in Colonial Area

Located a block away from the main plaza in the colonial section of Quito. Clean rooms and very personable and accommodating staff. Breakfast was a delight; a variety of local fruit was utilized and our server showed us examples of the raw fruit and how it was prepared. There are several patios to relax in, including a rooftop with a view if the city.
