"Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

"This was a return visit as we loved the friendly staff and locals. Special treat for our Irish Wolfhound because my wife was on antibiotics so timing meant she couldn't have her breakfast... so guess who got it instead. Very happy dog though I think the chef felt his skills were not being tested given she likes her eggs raw. So yes they are very dog friendly, and the food for us humans was excellent as well."

"On our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist who informed us we had been upgraded for our one-night stay. This was a lovely surprise and the room was fabulous. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We felt so relaxed and didn’t leave the hotel. We booked in for a meal which was fantastic.
