"The stay was fine overall, but the road very noisy because of thin windows. Also, even in May, the airconditioning isn't turned on as the hotel still classifies it as "winter" season... so the room was very hot at 26 degrees celcius and no way to cool it. I got a superior room and it was identical to my friends' room who got a standard - so don't bother with the superior."

"Overall, the accommodations were sufficient for our larger family. The host was great communicating with us ahead of time, and the caretaker was friendly and available if needed. As anticipated, the view of San Gimignano was fantastic. The house was clean and spacious, although a bit chilly, since we couldn't get the heat to fire up. Luckily, the bedrooms have mini splits. Water was not potable, which we did not find out about until our second day there.Bathrooms were a particular issue, as several had insects (stink bugs, ants, and springtails). One toilet wouldn't flush properly, while another bathroom had a strong septic smell. While the pool was not open yet, it would certainly add to the draw of the rental during warmer days. Overall, we enjoyed our time there, and appreciated the location being so close to many amazing sites and places to visit. "

"We stayed for 8 nights in this beautiful villa. This is our 4th trip in Italy renting a villa and this property exceeded our expectations. We are 3 couples in our 60’s touring Italy. The description and pictures are spot on. The furnishings, beds and bedding, kitchen appliances and utensils are all in excellent condition. Valentina & Gianni are wonderful hosts providing suggestions for great restaurants in the area and managing our dinner reservations. We had a minor issue with our rental car and Valentina guided us to body shop who fixed the issue within an hour We spent every morning swimming in the lovely pool a d every evening outdoors enjoying an after dinner cocktail. Outdoor furniture is perfect and the views are extraordinary. We had a really fun time in the pasta cooking class that Valentina organized at the property The villa is in an ideal location to visit the medieval hilltop villages. Do not hesitate to book this property. "
