The house is a short walk away from Skenfrith castle and the river for a swim, and within about a 20-25 minute drive you can get to many places/attractions. The owner was helpful when I messaged to ask a question and replied promptly. Will definitely be recommending ti family and friends."

"We could not have enjoyed our stay at the Ciderhouse Cottage any more! It was perfect for our needs, very clean, comfortable and practical without any unnecessary frills. The setting is wonderful and there is plenty of access to great local pubs, restaurants, shops in Monmouth while you can retreat to your own little cottage far from the noisy world. Dave was a wonderful host and especially kind and forbearing with my teenage daughters who showed a keen interest in his farm and Nell, the farm dog. We did local walks which were easy access and beautiful as well as day trips to Abergavenny, the Forest of Dean and Hay on Wye - all easy to reach.I hope that we can find an excuse to come back and we greatly appreciated the stay!"
