The rooms were clean. The lobby always smelled fresh and clean. The staff was lacking in ability to answer any questions. And that was if you could find them. There were absolutely no amenities. We were told that there would be coffee and tea beginning at 6 AM in the lobby, but there was never any tea. we had to ask for sugar cups. The area has certainly gone downhill in the past two years. We were supposed to be-there for a week and had three incidents where the police and ambulance had to be called because of drunk, disorderly, high strung out clientele in four days so we left early.
I had a one day stay at this property. The rom I got checked in to had bugs in it. I had to kill a couple of them but found some more. I reported it to the receptionist. She was gracious to check me into a different unit. Got to the other unit and realized that the sliding window doesn’t lock. Even though I was in the second floor (one floor above ground floor), it felt unsafe because I was traveling with my passport. So I informed the receptionist about this, and she mentioned that most or all the sliding windows in the property don’t lock. Her words exactly. That was a very odd thing to realize. She offered to notify the maintenance lady about it, and proceeded to texting her, but told me it might take a while for her to get to me. After waiting close to 50 mins without being attended to, and because it was getting late in the day, I decided to check out, essentially forfeiting my reservation. The managers could do better with running the establishment, which seems to be a decent place.
The hotel was in a great location close to all the great spots like the Raleigh food hall, raising Cane's, there were a lot of bars and activities but the hotel itself wasn't great... For what I paid I wasn't expecting much but it was very dirty it seemed like nobody had cleaned after the last guest because there were food wrappers all over the floor and trash under the bed the lamps looked like they hadn't been dusted or cleaned in years there were burn holes in the bedsheets dirt all over the tables and surfaces and dust all over the popcorn ceiling. The shower was very dirty we couldn't even use it because of how dirty it was on the upside the sink and the toilet looked very clean but we also had a broken window and there was a cold breeze flowing in the entire night. In conclusion it was okay just wish it was more clean because i had a 10 month old staying with me
Black mold around tub rust on door hinges the hotel walls are scared chipping elevators wall have a lot of damage.. staff not friendly the grounds around hotel littered with trash refrigerator broken froze my food. Microwave was not working correctly
Absolutely horrible. We found people sleeping on the stairs, drugged-up people in the upper hallways, and cockroaches running up the walls. Truly depressing.

Only one elevator and unfortunately someone had an accident in it.
Very convenient to downtown but much more affordable than downtown properties.

So first of all they "sold out" of the room type that I had RESERVED 2 months earlier. That should not be possible if they understand what a reservation is. Then they charge an additional $3.25 "Incidentals Fee" that is not disclosed when making reservations via Expedia. It is not much money, but it is the principle of it that is wrong. Then the "lock" for the room literally had no catch, just a smooth metal plate so the deadbolt couldn't stop anything because the bolt literally has no receiver. The A/C also could only run for 10-40 seconds (not kidding) at a time between 1-2 minute rest periods all night long. I stayed here approximately 4 years earlier and it was quite nice, but has gone down hill tremendously since then.
there was a concert going on, so the hotel was booked up and crowded, but the staff stayed professional and friendly and helpful.
the room was clean and quiet.
parking lot was clear and i felt safe.
Staff was good, but the outside of the building was terrible, there was needles, puke, cigarette butts it was disgusting we couldn't even walk our pet around the property. I fell very unsafe at night
Where should I start? Methheads all around the place with access to the back of the hotel property. The halls and elevator reeked of cigarette smoke, when there are multiple signs stating this is a 100% smoke free establishment. The shower was absolutely disgusting, the drain was clogged and there was a dead fly hanging on the top of the wall. We couldn’t use the coffee machine, microwave, or fridge due to bugs. The only visibly clean thing in that entire room were the fresh towels. The police came to arrest one of the methheads and found $2 worth of meth. There were multiple occasions where we had to either run to our room or sneak out just so that no one would see us, as everyone was sketchy. The only reason why I’m not giving one or zero stars is because the staff were very attentive and friendly. I thank God that our stay was only for 3 nights because if it were any longer I would have slept in our rental car.
