Beautiful 2BR house with two high quality king foam mattresses and fenced yard. Perfect for dogs and long term stays. 1mi from Duke University, 1mi from Duke Law school. Very close to: RTP, UNC, Duke Hospital and downtown Durham. Basketball hoop in driveway (basketball provided) and a very enjoyable outdoor deck connected to the master bedroom that leads into fenced yard for doggie time! Guests have full access to entire property and host is available 24/7 via chat / text. Washer and dryer make this location ideal for long term stays. Great neighborhood for walks.

- High Quality Sheets! What’s the point of having an awesome mattress without having soft, comfy sheets? Our units boast 100% Organic cotton cooling percale weave and soft breathable bed sheets and pillow cases. Lay down, slip into them and enjoy how fresh and comfortable they are.

- Fiber optic internet is always in all our units where available with Ethernet hand-offs for a direct, private connection up to 3GB: faster than WiFi! If you need additional Ethernet ports, we are happy to provide you with an ethernet switch free of charge, just ask us in chat.

- 24/7 Customer Service: Having any issue with your stay, want to make changes to your booking or need help? Customer service is available to you 24/7. Most of the space was clean. The host allows dogs which we're grateful for, but definitely had an effect on the smell. I cleaned the bathroom with disinfectant before using it. I'm sure someone closed their dog in there for a while. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was no coffee maker of any kind. We couldn't get the TV in the bedroom we slept in the work. The neighborhood was nice with friendly people. It was close to everything we needed. It was adequate for what we needed and we could bring 2 dogs.

Perfect for the holidays

Property was perfect for our needs. Rooms are large. Backyard was awesome for our dogs. Bring a towel to clean paws as it does get pretty muddy back there! Over all it was a fantastic place to stay while visiting our daughter for the holidays.

Not as advertised

First this is not a stand alone house as advertised it’s a duplex. This is also the first VRBO we were required to purchase an insurance policy for or leave a ridiculously high security deposit! This is also the first VRBO I have ever dealt with that I had to supply a picture of my drivers license. We arrived to a garbage can and recycle can jammed to the brim giving us the feeling that the property was being neglected before we even entered the unit! We entered to find the carpeting severely stained with what looks like a trail of oil throughout! The couch has the vinyl peeling off with a cover that doesn’t stay in place covering it. The desk is a decent chair placed in front of a flimsy folding table. The fenced in back yard was a disaster with a broken to pieces patio block at the bottom of the stairs and dog poop in the yard. I wouldn’t let our dogs out there! The deck is in need of a thorough cleaning and new deck furniture as the existing has seen better days. We paid for 10 days stayed for 3 and moved to a hotel as not to totally ruin our trip! Would be a decent place if it had the much needed TLC!

Meeting new grandbaby

This nice little duplex was a relaxing place to stay and work while visiting my new grandbaby. The neighborhood felt very safe and offered nice walkability. My dogs loved the back yard. I was lucky to have cooler than normal August weather which made the back deck perfect for some remote work that needed to be done and there was a fine workspace in the master bedroom as well. I had some issues with slow app refreshing getting the check-in information but that all resolved quickly.
