"Despite the rooms being a little dated decor wise. It was definitely clean. The bedsheets were clean. Bed and pillow very comfy. There have been a lot of negative reviews about the midtown inn. But I would stay there again. You get what you pay for - if you want five stars at five star prices then go find that hotel. If you want a basic room that’s warm, dry and clean. This is the place for you. It was a good night’s sleep for us. Hubby had just come out of day surgery at the local hospital. We appreciated the kindness of staff members who helped us immensely with our late booking (hospital recommended we stay in the city overnight instead of driving home) I genuinely would recommend this motel - like I said you get what you pay for - but it was everything we needed for last minute our overnight stay. Thank you to all the staff at the midtown inn - for your kindness and hospitality. We appreciated it"

"We booked a room with queen size beds however our room only had one double bed. When asked front staff regarding bed size she stated our bed was a queen and it was the same size as all beds in all the rooms. When I restated the bed was in fact only a double size she appeared unconcerned and no effort was offered to check it out or ensure we got the room size we booked. The room was very small and only suited to one person- not two persons with multiple travel luggage. The cramped room had one working light, AC fan was far too loud and grinding to have on. Bathroom amenities were scarce for 2 persons again highlighting it was a double room for one person . I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. "

"Hotel is very run down and dirty. They swap the sheets (not necessarily with clean ones) and sweep the floor in between guests. I don't think the floors have every been properly cleaned. Everything was slightly sticky. The "buffet breakfast" does not exist. They do not even have space to set one up if they intended to. I have included a photo of what they provided in lieu of a buffet. Do not book this hotel. The pipes were clanging all night. The curtain was so thin I literally made eye contact with an in-housed fellow who was watching me through the window. The door did not latch. Had to push hard and deadbolt it, lest the wind open it. Cigarette burns on nearly every surface despite being advertised as "non-smoking". Again, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL."
