"This was hands down our best overnight stay in Wales. The hotel is fabulous. The staff are amazing. Rooms are modern and every detail has been painstakingly well considered. The art on every wall is so interesting. We were absolutely blown away. I had mentioned that we were on a trip celebrating my partner’s birthday and they arranged a bottle of prosecco. Alison at reception was one of the most helpful and kind people in that role. We truly cannot say enough about this hotel."

"The tranquil setting and gorgeous building felt very special. We also enjoyed the gourmet breakfast that started the day . My only observation is that the Arts & Crafts building offers an opportunity to enhance that throughout rather than what is on the walls now, and feels like generic hotel decor that could be found anywhere. The priory is special, and that could be enhanced."

"Great location on outskirts of St David’s and big room with a sitting area and had a sea view and patio. Rooms on ground floor so no problems with lugging cases etc. Huge bathroom. Wet room style so no bath."

"This B&B could not be any more perfect. It is lovely, charming and quiet. The owners Suzanne and Shaun are incredibly helpful, friendly and gracious, and what’s more serve up a delicious breakfast. It’s a short walk into St Davids and to the coastal walking path. We stayed four nights and wish we could have stayed longer!"

"A very well situated hotel, modern inside an old building. A nice beer garden. Pleasant and helpful staff. The restaurant was good and there are other nice eating places nearby. The bar closes at 10 which means it is quiet if you gov o bed early but there are nearby pubs ifvyou don’t want to b Vegan breakfast could have been a bit more exciting and it would be good if oat or soya milk plus sachets of flora (or similar) were available on the breakfast buffet. Good to have EV charging on site but they didn’t all work properly and the payment system was a bit fiddly. A really nice visit and I’d definitely stay again."

"As a family of 8 adults, we had a wonderful stay. The whole house is huge, with plenty of space for all of us to come together but to also have space.The location is perfect, very close to the centre of St David’s, just down the road from the shop and close to the pubs and restaurants.There is no official parking but this was no problem, we parked all our cars just around the corner, free of charge.Thank you so much. We hope to visit again one day."
Stylish cosy cottage at the heart of the city

"The perfect retreat for 2. The pictures on the listing really don't do justice to this amazing property, and walking in for the first time you really get the wow factor! It's amazing being very modern and chic while keeping the charm of the cottage. The styling aside absolutely everything is the best of the best, from the top quality and well equipped kitchen and appliances to the bathroom wear and the excellent and luxurious bedding. Secluded off the high street in St Davids with its own driveway for parking it really is a secret and peaceful retreat. We found the cottage a really comfortable and calm place to stay and spend time when not out sight seeing. The best nights sleep were had here as well as long lie ins!! The outside space to the rear is a real suntrap and completely private. Great for a beer and fish n chips after a long day sightseeing. The cottage is located right in the centre, a 5 minute walk to the Cathedral, 1 minute walk to local pubs and shops and a 15 minute walk to Caerfai beach. It's the perfect location. Matt was excellent at communicating with us over some questions we had before our arrival. We got to meet him briefly during our stay and he's such a nice friendly guy and clearly passionate about his property and guests. We stayed 3 nights, and wished we had booked for a week. Note: The driveway for one car could be perceived as being tight. Matt advised you can fit a Range Rover on it and he wasn't wrong as our car fitted perfectly. "
