"The service was good and we were very happy. However on our first breakfast, the cook came to chastise us for being 5 minutes late! We had requested breakfast at 9.00 am but arrived no more than 5 minutes after 9.00. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for the food."

"Very fun experience, the lady we checked in with was amazing! Very informative and just over all incredibly friendly! Only thing is the mattresses aren’t the comfiest but overall experience made up for that!"

"Breakfast was disappointing, not a fan of buffet food, somethings were cooked to order but not the full Scottish breakfast, I would have preferred a cooked Scottish breakfast. Room was clean, television was a let down, basic free view channels unless you brought a fire stick, needs updating to a smart television. Bar was expensive, I’m doing a home from home break, don’t understand why we are asked to pay these extortionate prices, over £10 for 125ml Prosecco is ridiculous. The Corner Store round the corner gave you a 200ml glass for less than £10!! Staff were great, although seemed a bit stretched at breakfast & dinner. I bit disappointed for the price paid for a 2 night stay, lovely hotel, lovely people and lovely place, just a bit too expensive!"

"Room was clean. Beds comfy. But bathroom was very dated, almost like it never had any work done for 40 years, apart from the modern shower head... vinyl on the walls, 2cm squared tiles on the floor... But apart from that a decent stay. at 150 a night, it was well overpriced."

"I would suggest you get down for breakfast around 8.00 to 8.30 as that was when the hot breakfast choice was at its best. Staff did go and get anything that was used up if you requested it, however I find it better just to help myself. Staff very friendly and helpful"

"We had a great stay at the hotel. Room was comfy and the view of the loch was amazing. Breakfast and dinner were really good. Made good use of the pool and there are so many other things to do. Overall a really lovely stay."

"We have stayed in this area numerous times in different places. Burnbrae is by far the best will definitely be looking to stay again. It’s clean well equipped in the kitchen and close to all the amenities in Tyndrum."
