Ample parking near the entrance to the hotel.
Room was spacious.
Bed comfortable.
Balcony offered a nice view of the pool. It also offerred a hanging rack to dry your wet clothes.
Buffet breakfast was scrumptious. Local gym within an enjoyable walking distance.
The hotel pool provided respite from the hot sun and humidity.
The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful.

"Highly recommend! In all of my travels around the world, I would say that this is one of my favorite hotels. And you get a great breakfast and gourmet coffee to go along with it. Pat runs the front desk. Her and the rest of the staff is so friendly and they just make you want to come back. This is my second trip here, and I will always stay in this hotel whenever I’m in Ranong. "
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was lovely, rooms and beds were comfortable, front desk were knowledgeable and spoke wonderful English. The daily breakfast was terrific, especially if you love Thai food."

"Three nights in Ranong . This hotel was well positioned, clean and quiet . Sports area just behind . The hotel manager was excellent . Helped me get a great scooter and was just a good helpful guy . I slept great . Cold aircon and dark . "
"Blu Monkey Ranong is a modern and clean hotel with a nice pool area.
Our room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately there was some people making noise in the hotel, so it was not very quiet.
There is free coffee, snacks and bottles of water available all the time! : )
Location is good if you want to see Ranong walking street. There is many restaurants in the area.
Gym is the smallest gym I have ever been to."
"This hotel is owned by a cool couple, allowed us to check-in in at midnight , answered their phones, great fantastic service in their restaurant, live band, ... self serve coffee in a machine - well done both of you!
Recommend this place over that s---y Baandin Chiewlarn Resort nearby which is irresponsible.
Stayed here 3 nights, I am very thankful the other resort wasn't responsible, we found a hotel we can recommend to others, yes more expensive, but you pay for what you get.
