"The good things first, this was nice and clean, bathroom was really clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.
Now the rest…I was a little bit worried that it might collapse on top of us with massive cracks in one wall and across the ceiling. I would think they would have checked to ensure it’s structurally sound, but visually it was a worry. I doubt all of the rooms are like that, but we stayed in room 7 and it had that problem.
There were no staff there. We arrived at 4pm and were sent a code to access the secure box for our key, so I don’t know what you do if there are problems, it’s self check in and out all day.
The other thing was it was really noisy, it’s on the main road, but most of the noise we heard was from the room above us, and they weren’t noisy, just walking around the room. The motel did provide earplugs though, so they must know it’s an issue and have made a genuine effort to mitigate the problem.
Would I stay there again? Yes…as I said it was clean and comfortable which are the two things that matter to me on an overnight stay, if I was staying longer than one night, I’d probably choose somewhere else."
