I booked this hotel to stay with my daughter after a concert. I booked it based on the reviews and I feel I was mislead. The location was the first issue. It is tucked behind a few run down buildings and parking lot is not well lit. The room was really old, dingy and run down. The bathroom was the only redeemable space as it looked like it was newly renovated. Ok…around midnight I heard a loud horn. I said if it sounded like a train. I pulled my curtain…it WAS a train, right outside my window. It was like the my cousin Vinny scene. Had I known any of this I would have stayed elsewhere.
And there goes the train right outside our window at 12am!

A room safe was listed but it did not work. Two other rooms were offered, but the safes did not work in them either. If they do not work, they should not be listed as an amenity. The microwave, dated 1991, did not have a turntable but did work okay. The room thermostat needed a battery. Curtains looked rough or tied in knots in the hall. The rear outdoor premise had 2 mattresses stored outdoors, a trailer with a flat tire and other materials that should be disposed of. The staff were fine-courteous. Requested a no pet room which was appreciated.

Very courteous staff, our room was satisfactory, though thermostat had no instructions, it would not cut off/on unless prompted by touch. The lobby seemed to be in bit of a disarray; I think maybe the furniture is a bit on the old side, there were covers on them that didn't seem very well fitted.
