"We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 week honeymoon at Casa Cook El Gouna on ‘half board’. There was a big variety of food to choose from each day and the restaurant chefs & waiters went above and beyond to cater to your needs. The staff in general were accommodating from the moment of arrival until our check out. The resort includes various optional/complimentary experiences week to week, which really adds something special to your stay. The spa area is very relaxing and we really enjoyed having massages. The resort itself is located in the private area of El Gouna, which is its own little exclusive paradise, in the middle of many beautiful lagoons, pretty harbours and other resorts. Our only downside was that renovations were being made to the front beach pool area and the gym during our stay, which meant we couldn’t use these facilities - a discount or compensation of some kind should have been offered if the full resort experience was not going to be possible. Other than this, we loved our experience and would love to return in future."

"From the grounds, to housekeeping, the spa and the rooftop restaurant this is one of the best hotel I have stayed at. Even The pool cleaner Chebl saw I needed something and dropped everything to come help me. We were sad about missing the excellent breakfast because our plane left early so the front desk set us up with smoothies, cappuccinos and to go boxes for the airport. They work as a team here and it shows."

"The staff are good .the food was good . The beach have many small fish bite you . The wifi so bad . The pathway from the beach to the room not maintain and lot of stones . Hard for people have walking problem."

"We stayed five nights at the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort with my wife and teen daughter in a luxury suite to wrap up our extensive Egypt trip. The room was beautifully furnished with 3 balconies providing 270 degree view. The property’s true strength is its beautiful beach and sunset views. The main shortcomings is a very limited number of restaurants (2) which is rather unusual for such a sprawling resort. All in all, an excellent stay."
