Great stay

We booked a normal room for our family of three, but when we arrived we were given a family room with great condition and good size. The stay was only for one night, but we would love to come back. Very pleased overall!

Excellent location for an overnight stop enroute to Denmark and with the bonus of a great view overlooking the Kiel Canal. The staff were some of the friendliest and helpful we have met on our travels.

Excellent Hotel.

A lovely hotel with excellent room and on immaculate condition. Only one thing could have made our stay better and that would have been a kettle. The staff were excellent, in particular the breakfast staff who were excellent!

4 star hotel with a view

The hotel rooms are clean and spacious, very comfortable bed and relaxing ambience. A real 4 star hotel with a view to the canals where the ships passed by every so often. The only thing that travelers needs to remember is that, if you plan to dine in the restaurant on your arrival, reservation must be made before hand, info that we missed before we arrived.

Exceptionally friendly high quality hotel

From the outside this hotel looks like a modern chain hotel. However, once inside the quality of the service and friendliness of the staff excel. The staff are very proactive in meeting your needs. The breakfast was excellent and although a buffet style there were many friendly staff menders on hand to provide coffee and help with any requirements you had.

Nice location

Hotel was ok! Nice location along the Kiel channel with a good restaurant at the hotel overlooking the channel. We stayed in a room in the older part of the hotel. Some basic stuff, like a water boiler was missing. One of the receptionists was also very unfriendly and did not bother to greet the guests.

The location next to the pedestrian/bike tunnel and on the canal was wonderful. A lovely corner room with a view of the ships. We appreciated the bike garage. The service at dinner was very,very slow. Over an hour before we received our drinks. No other hotel or restaurant on our trip was so slow.

Nice hotel but some negative service experience

The restaurant was full, and I could not get a dinner. Even at the bar I could not get a small dish :-( Be sure to book a table in advance!!!
