"My family stayed for 9 days, during that time my family loved every part of the house. The game room was awesome. The property had so many things to do from basketball to swings, pool, game room. We really did have to go anywhere, could have stayed there, but I wanted my grandchildren to experience San Diego and the surrounding area. The Host was attentive and responded quick. "We just completed a 5 day youth camp with 20 people total. It was a bit cramped, All the provided air mattresses deflated. And the overall feel of the house was smaller than expected to accommodate 20 people. Despite that, the students had an amazing time and really enjoyed the stay. We made the space work and got all the use out of it as we could. The highlight was the pool! We could not get those kids out of there.The host was also very communicative, when we arrived we noticed that the slide had been damaged and was out of service, and because of the inconvenience they gave us a free night of the jacuzzi. Overall I recommend this place! Just don’t push it to max capacity and communicate with the host for any problems you have."

"Great communication. The owners were quiet. Navigating the dog poop on the grass and figuring out the gate to get out of the backyard to our car was annoying especially since I texted the owner about the dog poop and it hadn’t been dealt with the next morning when we were moving our belongings and the garbage from the cabin. The pool filter was broken during a heat wave which was a bummer for my 8 year old son. The proximity was close to San Diego though so we spent most of our two days there. When we checked in it was 94 outside, but the AC in the tiny home had just been turned on so it was about 88 in there. The owner commented about it and advised it would take time to catch up, but he did agree to let us keep it on the remainder of our stay because it took so long to cool down. Even with all of this, I’d stay here again if I were ever in the area. Lakeside is a nice town. Oh, there were a total of three beds counting the trundle bed. The beds were comfy enough, but the pillows sucked. The Wifi signal was also not very good. Things I’d like to read in a review. I hope it is helpful."
