"The property itself was lovely, really clean and lots of space The location was in the hub of a village and it really didn’t seem like that when advertised. I think the way it is advertised needs to be re looked at as we had complaints from 2 different neighbours on the first night. The courtyard backed onto a row of houses and is attached to a family of 4 cottage. It is really misleading and location wise is not suitable for a big group at all."

"Great base to explore. Brilliant set up for the dogs. Quiet ..really great time had by us all. The welcome wine and scones were lovely. Thank you! id def stay again ! The host John's communication was excellent."

"We had a wonderful stay.The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed.The only problem we had was the size of the bunk beds. My 14 year old is tall and it’s not a full size bed so she couldnt stretch out as there are walls at each end. Would be suitable for ages 11and under.Other than that…a great place to stay"

"Great location. We had a few issues with the accommodation given but hosts were helpful. It was well equipped and clean apart from a few things which were passed on to the hosts.We only went for a week so we didn’t have time to use all the facilities on site but what was offered was great."

Keepers Cottage - sleeps 2 adults, 2 children and your dogs

"Keepers Cottage is a very small cottage - I did not appreciate just how small. That being said the space has been put to good use and everything you needed was available. The living accommodation is upstairs with the bathroom/wet room and bedrooms downstairs. The beds are amazingly comfortable and I had the best week’s sleep I have had in a while. It is lovely to be on the farm, to see and hear the animals, including meeting some very friendly farm dogs, and to watch the comings and the goings. If you take a dog there is a great exercise field available. Only two downsides really - the stairs are steep and slippy so if you have an elderly dog or you are a bit infirm this needs to be taken into consideration. We have an arthritic dog who we needed to support up and down. The owner very kindly left a baby gate out for us so that we could ensure he didn’t head off down on his own. I am not a fan of wet rooms but this one does its job - and it would be nice if the radiator worked. The water quality is amazing! The scones, jam and cream left for us were lovely with enough cream for me to have on my porridge for the rest of the week. Overall an enjoyable stay. Cornwall is an amazing county and our rides in and out were full of beautiful scenery."
