Hampton Inn & Suites Providence Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"The common areas of the hotel was freshly redone and beautiful. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and responsive. The only glitch was when we checked in our credit card was charged full price even though we had paid through Hotels.com and used One Key Cash. When I pointed out the mistake to the person checking us out she apologized and fixed it immediately (I think, am waiting to see my credit card statement). Overall though, it was an excellent stay at a very clean, quiet and pleasant hotel. "
"Loved this property. It was gorgeous and the room very spacious and well-appointed. Set in quiet residential setting. There was however absolutely no management present on the property the entire visit and when I tried to contact them through two different phone numbers about a late checkout there was no response. Then I received a text from a different phone number (the cleaner, I think) saying my key was not in the location it was supposed to be at checkout time. She was very kind and apologetic and said the owners were traveling. This was more like a shared airbnb experience than it was a hotel, which is fine, but they should call it what it is. I will probably try again as it’s close to where my daughter lives."
