Best value close to the beach.

This was high value for the money. We had a family room that was bigger than expected. Nice pool shared with the hotel next by. Super close to the beach. A bonus that the poolbar across the street let's you use their pool, sunbeds and access to the beach if you buy, drinks, breakfast or lunch. Location makes it easy to catch a cab in any direction. We choose the hotel for its location to the beach vs distans from airport. We could start to enjoy our vacation directly. Staff very welcoming and service minded.

Excellent clean and inviting hotel

Although only 2 star, in our view could well rate higher. Situated just off the main road (25 metres) to Rhodes town in the southern end of Ixia. Tastefully decorated and the foyer has a nice airy feel to it, nicely turned out and as with the rest of the hotel, very clean and inviting. There is a modern lift to all floors - not like some of the "cranky" lifts I have experienced in hotels with more stars! The rooms are (from our experience) basic Greek with good beds, air conditioning (which works very efficiently) and a fridge. The only slight downside (if I can call it that - only a very small issue that stopped me giving 5 stars to everything) is that the bath/shower room is a little cramped. The rooms are very well cleaned every day and fresh towels are provided at every cleaning. Sunday the only day the rooms aren't cleaned, but fresh towels are provided. The swimming pool is the next door hotel's, but easily accessible from the terrace. All the kitchen/dining room and cleaning staff are very polite and helpful; nothing too much trouble. The price includes breakfast (a lot of hotels £100 p/week more don't) is a buffet and quite palatable - fruit, cereals, eggs, omelettes, bacon, buns, toasties, croissants, etc. John and Lisa are the receptionists, speak good English, with a happy smile and, again, nothing is too much trouble for them. They really do go the extra mile to look after you, beyond just being reception staff. Overall we would thoroughly recommend this hotel

Hotel vicino all aeroporto, sul mare(basta attraversare la strada) e market/ristoranti sulla stessa via Abbiamo avuto un piccolo imprevisto sul l’assegnazione della stanza, ma non dovuto ne all hotel ne a noi ma all applicazione Expedia che nn ha comunicato la nostra scelta di aver la vista mare, ma i ragazzi della reception son stati molto disponibili e hanno risolto nel giro di poche ore il disguido. Colazione piuche altro internazionale e non molto vasta ma buona. Pulizia non buonissima ma accettabile Tutto sommato bene e lo consigliero, sia come posizione che cordialita

Everything you need

A small hotel with a great simplicity to it. Breakfast was very nice serving a mix of both hot and cold food to meet the needs of everyone. Rooms are basic but are kept tidy every day by fantastic cleaning staff. The biggest plus is the location which couldn’t be more central to the bars and pubs of ixia.

Lovely hotel and staff, however, the area is very busy and commercialised. If you like hustle and bustle this would be a great location, however, if you prefer more traditional then I would advise looking to stay on the east coast of the island.

Nice compact hotel

Hotel and staff was nice. Only minus is coming small rooms, but those are cleaned every day and towels change too. So cleaning lady's are super. Aircon works well :) Pool area not hotel area but works very well. Steps from breakfast area straight to pool what was okay too.

スタッフの対応が良く、快適に過ごせました。 リノベーションしたばかりもしくは新築？（グーグルマップやwindows10のマップでは道路沿いにありますが、少しだけ中に入ったところにあります。）のためか、内装は大変奇麗です。 インフラには若干問題もありましたが、スタッフの対応で気分よく過ごせました。 防音についてはゼロに近いです。 付近でバンド演奏や大音量を夜に流していることがありますが、夜は日本時間では深夜もしくは早朝なのでうるさくても寝てしまっていました。 神経質な方には厳しいかもしれません。 あまりにロードス島の情報が少なく、すぐ近くのホテルに公共のバスで行けるところまでは調べたのですが、海外でGPSが利かないこともあるので、安全を見て空港ホームページに記載のシェアタクシーで行きました。 （このホテルの公式HPからバス停を一週間までに問い合わせたのですが、返信なくシェアタクシーを予約しました。） 結論から言うと少なくとも往路はシェアでない専用タクシーをお勧めします。 シェアタクシーは空港で一時間待ちでした。 結局同乗予定の他の客が来ず、占有状態でしたが日本から到着後の一時間待ちは疲れます。 またバスはバス停のアナウンスがなく、GPSか景色で判断しないといけないので、特に夕方から夜についた場合に初心者には厳しいです。 因みに最寄りのバス停名は、olympic palace hotelです。 日中15分に一本程度走っていて、旧市街に行くのには大変便利です。1.9ユーロでした。 また機会があれば利用します。

Cheap and cheerful!

Usually stay at one of the 5 stars down the road but travelling on my own so the Filmar suited my needs. Clean room with a/c which is a must at this time of the year. Comfy bed, clean sheets and towels. ( No service on a Sunday! ) Breakfast was alright but if you want a full English go to the FBI bar round the corner! The bathroom is small and it's a hand held shower! The hotel shares a pool with another hotel where they have a poolside bar. Good food here and freshly prepared! For luxury you can go across the road to the Villa di Mare complex where you can really relax and chill! All in all I got a bargain and would gladly stay here again!
