Have just returned from a great weeks stay at the Leonardo Kolymbia hotel.. We arrived very late and there was some food left for us in the room. Great location with access to a pretty decent albeit stony beach / harbour. The rooms were very clean and spacious, we had a family room with a divider and sofabed that also had 2 bathrooms and a separate seating / table area and balcony. The staff are really what make this hotel, everyone we interacted with was super friendly and you can tell they love what they do, special thanks to Kiki and the reception team and Magda & George in the bar.. (the restaurant staff and the guy at the pool bar were also great but I didn't get any names) We stayed all inclusive and the food was good, its not Michelin star quality but does the job and the choice was good with lots always available (the kids spag bol was a personal fave) The snacks at the pool were welcome but not too much choice (burgers / chips / pizza / hotdogs) Drinks were good but using local spirits again it does the job and its great to try all the different cocktails. Location was perfect for us but we did have a car (free parking) and used it as a base to travel around the island, (Rhodes old town is a must) Kolymbia does have a pretty decent stip with shops / bars / restaurants all walkable if you want to just stay at the hotel. One thing to note, we went in May and the weather was good but the pool is unheated so was a bit chilly.

Nice hotel in a good location.

Nice hotel in a good location. Pleasant and helpful staff, delicious food and always clean restaurant. The family room is spacious, two bathrooms, but the sofa bed in the bedroom is completely unsuitable for sleeping, very uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Both the staff and facilities were exceptional, demonstrating great attention to detail and consideration for our children's needs and preferences. The hotel is thoughtfully designed to cater to families, and we would definitely book here again if we return to Rhodes.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, but the room was very basic. The room was cleaned daily, but there was an issue with the fridge - it smelt and flies kept appearing which was horrible.

Nice resort, amazing staff.

We spent 5 days with the family in Leonardo including two 5 years old kids. It was a wonderful experience. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful everywhere in the resort, specially the ladies at the reception desk, Rena and Tsampika did everything in their power to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. There is a great entertainment team around the pool all day long and a show every night in the bar area. As some other reviewers pointed out the rooms and the restaurant can do better to suit a five star resort, but the overall feeling is so nice that you tend to forgive these shortcomings. We are already planning to come back next year.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I left my phone in one of the local buses. The lady at the reception called the bus company for me and made arrangements to retrieve my iphone. The following day in the morning I got my phone back. Also, at the bar Spros and George were both knowledgeable and entertaining that we really had good time. The facility was alright for us. The food was good. The one disappointment was that we thought the resort had its own beach access. They did not. You had to walk 5 minutes to the beach and pay 20€ for beach seats and umbrella. The pictures were a bit misleading. Otherwise we had good time there.

Tutto perfetto a cominciare dell'accoglienza di Piero che alle 4 di notte ci ha consentito di riposare in un'area dell'hotel in attesa del check in. Posto strategico per muoversi sia con le escursioni organizzate sia noleggiando una macchina. Cibo ottimo, Romeo alla ristorazione è fantastico, il personale tutto, è gentilissimo, cercano ogni modo di venire incontro alle tue richieste cosa che ha fatto amche Tampika e Rena alla reception. Da consigliare sicuramente.

De lovede os at give os en swim up værelse hvis vi gav 20 euro ekstra.. og at værelse vil være ledig fra næste morgen... næste morgen sagde de noget helt andet værelset var stadig ikke ledig og nu skulle vi betale 50 euro pr nat... den ene personale så noget så kom den næste som sagde noget helt tredje... til sidst måtte vi bare blive på den samme værelse

First and foremost, this is not (yet) a resort, this is a hotel. The hotel was very clean and the employees are very friendly. The hotel has recently been renovated, and the rooms are up to standards. Now the less good news: The rooms are recent, but somehow the hair blow dryer dates from 1990, seems to me this can also have an update. It’s a warm climate, although the blanket provided is for winter temperatures, the choice of pillows (although alternate can be provided) could be better, you get one scratchy and one normal pillow. The music in the eating room is some kind of elevator music that you’ll be able to sing along the tune after being went there 2 times. The music at the pool is the same each day, every few hours it goes in a loop. The beach side, although free seats and umbrellas are provided for the hotel, in case you need a drink, you need to walk back and forth from the pool with your drink that became warm after the 200m walk. The food is repetitive, each day it’s 98% the same, although it’s always well prepared and fresh, after day 3 it’s getting boring to see them prepare the souflaki again. They have everything to make this more exciting easily. If you want to visit something you need a car or a lot of patience in a bus. The evening animations, except for the kids club, are for 50% some lady that is coming to sing that is sitting in a chair. The hotel will be upgraded again if I understood it correctly, and maybe it will become a resort after it.
