Our second visit to this very comfortable villa. We had a relaxed 10 days with plenty of sunshine and beautiful blue skies. Stunning Lindos is just a short drive away and Pefkos nearby for eating out. Our host was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend the villa. Thank you once again for giving us the chance to enjoy this lovely escape from reality.

This has been our second visit to Rhodes and the villa and again it has been wonderful. We find it ideally situated in a quiet rural village that is not too far from anywhere. The villa has everything you need, a home from home and it was spotlessly clean. The pool and pool area were also clean and tidy. In Peters absence Joe has been a great host, easily contactable, friendly and ready to give assistance when we required it. Joe also cleaned and maintained the pool every couple of days. This was great as we used it at some point everyday. Having the air conditioning was also a boost. Peter, if we visit Rhodes again in the future we will certainly contact you first.

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr entspannend und erholsam. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung der eigentlich schönen Villa ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Duschkabine, Schränke, Plastikstühle, Liegenauflagen, ...). Der Pool ist sehr schön und gepflegt! Der Vermieter ist sehr um das Wohl des Gastes besorgt und sehr freundlich! Leider muß man mit fast permanentem Hundegebell leben - da kann der Vermieter aber natürlich nichts dafür!

Excellent !

The villa was even better than we had expected and Peter was the perfect host. Communication was great from booking and he met us as arranged to introduce us to the villa and the area. The location was super, quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature and yet just a short drive to an excellent supermarket. Local Taverna's are plentiful serving fabulous fresh food and scenic drives take you by the coast within minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days both by the pool and exploring the area.

Fantastic Villa

Right from booking the villa the coms with Peter was great, and all the way through our holiday he was theree perfect host, thank you, Peter very kindly let us into the villa early and met us in the village to show us the way to it. The villa really did meet all our expectations, it was spotless and like other reviewers have said very well equipped. The welcome pack that Peter provided was by far the best we have ever had in years of renting, Wine, beers, milk, soft drinks, bread butter, fruit and plenty more. It was hot for our week and the pool was well used together with the inflatables which I'm sure are for children but that didn't stop me. The villa is in a very quiet location with only the odd donkey bray to break the silence. The aircon was very welcome as was the large fridge with the ice cube maker. We would love to come back as the villa, location and Peter made for a lovely holiday. Thank You Peter and Barbara

Peace and quiet, yet close to everything

Loved the quiet setting alongside an olive grove on the edge of the village, yet only a 5 minute drive from stunning Lindos. Brilliant host, fab swimming pool suitable for all ages. Plenty of outside space and well equipped, spacious house with aircon throughout. Thinking of Lindos? Give the hotels a miss and grab a reservation here. Better by far!

Relaxing and wonderful, hit the jackpot.

We have had the most relaxing and wonderful stay at Peter and Sue’s villa. This was our first time on Rhodes and we were taking a guess at where to stay, we hit the jackpot perfectly in both villa and location. The villa was clean and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you needed and much more. The pool was definitely a must for us and we used it every day. Outside was laid out so that no matter what atmosphere, sun, shade you wanted you could find it, Peter was a great host, there to greet us after we had followed his excellent directions, He looked after the pool, did a midweek change of linen and was ready to give help and advice about the island. There was also a great welcome hamper and a lovely acknowledgement it was a special wedding anniversary. Peter also answered any pre arrival queries speedily. Pylonas is perfect for travelling all over the island.For us the peaceful location in a village was ideal, however, it is close enough to busier activities too. We liked filling our water bottles at the local spring and visiting the bakery for a drink and sometimes a sweet treat. Their The Spanakopita ( Greek spinach and cheese pies) are delicious. There is still lots for us to see and do so, we plan to book for next year, that says it all really. Thanks Peter.

Very enjoyable stay

The outside space and pool is great at this property and exactly what we were looking for. We loved the quiet village that was perfectly located for our Niece’s wedding venue in Lindos, literally 5 minute drive to the stunning Amphitheater. 2 Double bedrooms with balconies were nice and bright with good Aircon and plenty of wardrobe space. Never any issues with the WiFi and the owner Peter met us in the village and showed us to the villa on arrival, he was on hand by phone for any issues and came and cleaned the pool and changed the towels and bedding during our stay. Peter also provided some basic essentials which was very handy, even went as far as providing charcoal and fire lighters for the bar b q (sorry we didn’t use it in the end) The wedding was the best I have ever been too and the whole experience was fabulous. Thank you Peter and Vrbo.

Wunderschöne Villa mit sehr nettem Vermieter

Wir waren als Familie mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern in dieser Villa zu Gast. Unser Vermieter Peter Moore war sehr nett, hilfsbereit, freundlich und überraschte uns mit einem vollen Kühlschrank am Anreisetag. Große Freude unsererseits. Danke dafür! Die Villa hat alles was man zum Familienurlaub braucht und haben möchte. Trotz der einmaligen Hitzewelle im Juli und den schlimmen Bränden die Griechenland ertragen musste, sowie der mehrfachen Evakuierung konnten wir einen schönen Urlaub in Pylonas bei Mr.Moore verbringen. Unser Jahres-Sommerurlaub wurde halt ein Abenteuerurlaub mit einem schönen Haus und erholsamen Pool. Gerne wieder, aber auch gerne ohne Feuer.

Just perfect

We had a wonderful couple of weeks at the property. Peter was very welcoming and thoughtfully left a number of items in the fridge so we didn't have to rush out as soon as we arrived. He was very accommodating generally and full of good advice as to places to visit. The villa was spotless and had everything and more we needed for our stay and was a real home from home for the holiday. It was a wonderful 2 and 1/2 weeks and we would have no hesitation in returning again, and will likely do so !

A priori la maison a tout pour plaire, à l'usage vous comprenez vite que vous ne louez pas une maison mais que vous habitez celle de quelqu'un d'autre Si vous aimez que les choses soient clean et carrées, abstenez-vous, il a fallu débarrasser le frigo pour se trouver 2 étagères à nous, l'occasion de découvrir à quel il était sale ( et la cabine de douche au 1er .....) Si vous considérez que vous avez autre chose à faire que la vaisselle à la main pendant vos vacances, abstenez-vous, le lave vaisselle est en panne et pour longtemps Abritel indique que la maison dispose de 2 chambres, c'est un important critère de choix, sachez toutefois que le propriétaire peut décider unilatéralement de retreindre l'accès à la seconde chambre " à moins que vous ne justifiez en avoir besoin " ce qui était notre cas Considérant que nous avions passé l'age de fournir quelques explications que ce soit, nous nous sommes donc contentés d'une seule chambre, tout en payant deux Sachez aussi que l’hôte se "réserve la possibilité de vous surcharger" si vous arrivez trop tôt le matin ou trop tard le soir, manifestement , il ne connait pas les boites à clés, ou si vous êtes cinq, ce que le site d'Abritel prévoit expressément Bref, vous avez compris, nous ne recommandons pas du tout et nous nous interrogeons sur les critères qui confèrent la qualité de premium à un hote

Peaceful Pylona

peter was a great host and despite late arrival everything went smoothly. A welcome pack was most welcome and thoughtful especially with late flight. Directions were spot on and property was like a home from home with everything you could need if either staying home or going out!There was even a local spring to fill up our water bottles and a good supermarket/coffee shop and restaurant at the end of the road.We were after a relaxing break and thats what we got...the property is in a quiet village but very central to visit all the sights of Rhodes. Rhodes town is about 30 mins away and the beautiful Lindos only 5 mins drive. We will be back!

Merveilleux séjour

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans la maison de Peter. Elle est très agréable, bien équipée, située au calme dans un petit village local tout en étant tout proche de Lindos. La literie est très bonne. La piscine est un must, avant et après les excursions. Peter est tres disponible et nous a donné de tres bons conseils pour la location de voiture, les plages alentour, l’île de Symi, etc. Il avait tout prévu pour notre arrivée : boissons rafraîchissantes, fruits, œufs, etc. Un grand merci pour ces gentilles attentions. Toute la famille a adoré son séjour. Merci Peter !

Family stay in Villa in quiet village near Lindos

Lovely villa in quiet village, everything you need for a great holiday. Comfy beds, furniture and sun beds. Well equipped kitchen ( ice maker very welcome) Air con worked well. Outside area is so good, lovely pool ( no horrible chlorine) and lots of shaded areas. Pete is a great host meets you on arrival to go through things and is always in hand if you need him. Wi-Fi is only really 100%in the lounge but that wasn’t a problem for us. Loved Lindos also visited Lardos & Pefkos for meals which are good too. Would definitely come again.

Superbe vacances à côté de Lindos

La maison est superbe, très bien équipée. très bien entretenue et très propre. Peter est un propriétaire attentionné : le frigo était rempli des premières nécessités, des bons conseils pour visiter l'ile et nous a aidé à réserver l'excursion à Simy. Nous conseillons sans réserve !

perfect stay

Beautiful villa with lots of privacy. Very complete inventory. Location is perfect in relation to the beach and villages. Lovely pool that we enjoyed every day. Peter answers all your questinons and you can always reach him if needed, this made us feel save and trusted. Lovely villa

A lovely villa in a quiet village but minutes away from Lindos with plenty of restaurants and great beaches. The property is ideally located to explore the many beaches, towns and villages of Rhodes. Peter was an excellent host with lots of helpful information for places to visit such as Symi and the Island in general.
