"From start to finish our experience was perfect. The resort is has an air of island chic and decadent luxury. From the room, to the resort grounds, all of the facilities are pristine. "We stayed there for our 10-year anniversary. Nice view.
However, we paid an expensive nightly rate for a half board. The main restaurant is supposed to be opened until 10pm. We arrived at 8pm for our reservation. Not even 15min after our arrival, the staff clearly started to do everything possible to make us understand we ought to be leaving asap.
Like cleaning the dishes, heavily racking chairs on the floor, setting up for breakfast 2h before closing time… they did everything except being...

"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation.
Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall.
