"Staying at the Melia Madrid Barajas overnight prior to my flight was an enjoyable experience in a well maintained hotel. The lobby area was very inviting for hotel guests to take time to plan their itinerary or just to take a break from activities. The pool was large and inviting and the seating area for lounging or relaxing was excellent. The restaurant bar area off the lobby was open and well appointed. All in all it was a lovely overnight stay."
"Unfortunately not the best service with the use of the airport shuttle. I called 4 different phone numbers listed all of which kept telling me to contact the hotel to request the shuttle bus. Calls bounced to other agencies since the hotel would not pick up. I would think staff would be readily available. I requested the outside reservation staff to call the hotel and request the shuttle for us."
