The Lake House was lovely, with a wonderful lakeside setting and comfortable accommodations. The restaurant is also quite nice. It is convenient to Glimmerglass, Cooperstown, and Utica for a pleasant stay. The biggest downside is that Richmond Springs has very limited dining options, especially for dinner.

Right on the lake!!! Beautiful property!!!! they had a live band Friday and Saturday, which was super fun. Bar and restaurant on site delicious food and great drinks.!! highly recommend !!! that area had lots of fire pits. It was nice to hang out at night. room was was small but we out at spend much time in it so that’s OK.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Lake House on Saturday, September 5th. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the gorgeous property with giant trees, a stunning view of the lake, great music by Grateful Upstate Too-do-loo on stage. Personal firewood brought by staff to all guests' chimneys! We can't wait to return! Family owned and Sabina was a most excellent host.👌

This was a property that was built in the 1840's. We loved the character and the charm of the place. The most recent owners do everything they can to continue the legacy that's going on 180 years old. Our first night there the restaurant was open and we had a good meal after traveling half way across the country. They are very dog friendly and close proximity to Cooperstown. The staff was very friendly.

Wonderful place to stay, old building with lots of character. Rooms were spaceous. Lake was right there. There was a concert that evening but it was not too loud and was finished by 10pm and we were able to sleep. The restaurant was a good place to grab dinner. Staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating, we had a special request and they really helped us out. Our room fit 5 comfortably - 2 large beds and a twin size bed.

Lovely place. I wish we had a longer stay. We came and went quickly, on a day that the restaurant and bar were closed, so can’t comment upon that aspect. It’s old, but that is the point. It is an old lovely place with tons of history and rustic charm. I would definitely return.

We so enjoyed our 2 night stay! The historic 1800's Lake House was full of charm. We had use of their kayaks, rafts, docks and enjoyed the views of the lake. I would highly recommend this unique rustic property! The restaurant and bar had great food & drinks. We watched two beautiful sunsets on the deck overlooking the lake. Everyone was very friendly! I am glad we experienced the step back in time!

The Lake House is terrific... casual, homey, and relaxing. The outside stairs could probably use some work, but over all the place is great. Early morning kayaking is wonderful. Close to Cooperstown and Glimmerglass. We had a very relaxing vacation. Thank you!

Great time, the only real issue was a leaky sink and the Expedia site other than that staff was awesome, restaurant was great, food was excellent, and amenities were good. Definitely would stay again and recommend staying in a cabin here!

Very quaint hotel with a fascinating history dating back to 1843. Sabrina, the manager/owner was cordial and gracious in every way. She could not have been more helpful in getting us settled in. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Beautiful setting on the lake..
