This is only the second negative review I've ever written. As a business owner, I know how much bad reviews can impact a business, so I don't leave them lightly. After much thought, I feel others should know our experience before booking. The positives: The cabin was spacious, had plenty of seating, beautiful sunset views, and a great location close to everything we wanted to do. Rent Branson was responsive by text and acknowledged our concerns. The biggest issue was that the sleeping arrangements did not match the listing. The "twin trundles" were actually two thin twin mattresses stored in a closet with stained yellow plastic covers. When placed on the floor, they were so thin a child could feel the floor beneath them. The listing also advertised four sofa beds, but all were broken and unusable. The main living room ceiling has a large black stain. We were told it was an old smoke stain that had been there for years, despite another guest reportedly being told it would be addressed.Although the property is pet-friendly, there is virtually no usable area for dogs. The yard is steep, overgrown, and appears to contain poison ivy/oak, leaving only a tiny patch for pets. The advertised barbecue grill was present but so rusted and corroded that it appeared unusable. The cabin has great potential, but several advertised amenities and sleeping accommodations did not match reality.
