Das Hotel Polo hat seine Vor- und Nachteile. Die Einrichtung ist leider schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt insgesamt alt und unmodern. Das Personal ist freundlich, aber eher durchschnittlich – nichts Besonderes, aber auch nicht unhöflich. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, ohne größere Beanstandungen. Das Frühstück entspricht eher einem Mittelmaß, daher würde ich es mit 3 von 5 Sternen bewerten. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich das sichere Parken direkt am Hotel sowie die sehr zentrale Lage, die für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ideal ist.

No air con in shoulder season

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Polo and were quite disappointed. Pot luck meant we had a room that had not been renovated which meant incredibly tired decor, a bathroom sink that leaked and poor socket placement. The real kicker was that although an air con dial was in the room, when we rang reception about it being broken we were first told it couldn’t be fixed then told they didn’t have it on in May as it wasn’t hot enough. Whilst that may the opinion of locals, when you’re catering to tourists you need to be prepared to cater to their wants also. This led to some incredibly stuffy nights in the hotel. Breakfast was adequate - what you’d expect from an Italian hotel. Location was probably the best thing but caution the fact that entrance was up a steep set of stairs and no visible ramp option if you have a pram or wheelchair.

Always a great stay.

Even if they had some issues due to a recent incident, the staff overdid themselves to make our stay comfortable. The location is perfect, and close to the beach and just a short beautiful walk to downtown. And they still serve a 5 star breakfast spread!

Der Aufenthalt für 3 Nächte war im Hotel Polo super. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und zwischen 7:00-12:00. Somit ideal für Langschläfer. Das renovierte Zimmer war modern, ruhig und sauber. Auch das Bett war sehr bequem. Würden es wieder buchen. Hunde im 3. Stock herzlich willkommen.

Pulizia migliorabile. Peli trovati in doccia e nel lavandino. Struttura vecchia. Le camere necessitano di rinnovo. Mobili vecchi e tendaggi anni 80. Struttura comunque imponente con ottimi servizi. L’acustica non è delle migliori. Da una camera all’altra si sente la gente che parla al telefono anche con un tono di voce non alto.
