I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's prime location and accessibility, the friendly and multilingual staff, spotless cleanliness, stunning rooftop bar with breathtaking views, and delicious breakfasts featuring authentic Brazilian coffee and a thoughtful selection of options (I think you can ask for American-style bacon and pancakes, if desired). However, I was disappointed by the thin soundproofing, with noisy toilets and loud happy guests. Unsurprisingly, my room's lack of view was a result of not booking a Copacabana beachfront room, but I was still surprised to find myself staring at unattractive walls. Additionally, I was taken aback by the charge for minibar water, as complimentary water is a standard courtesy in Brazilian pousadas.
