Fabulous Apartment in the City of Ripon, close to Cathedral with private parking
Hidden in a secluded courtyard off the main road and through a small tunnel you will find this luxurious One Bedroom, One Bathroom, First Floor Apartment in a brand new complex of just seven apartments.
The original bricks were lovingly cleaned and then reused, in order to build this exclusive, gated apartment development, within easy walking distance of the City Centre.
(NB: We also have a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on the same floor should you need extra accommodation. Please find under listing 10721631.)
Comprising a large, light and airy open plan kitchen/sitting room, a bedroom with SuperKing bed which can be made up into twin beds if preferred (please request when booking), an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and a walk-in wardrobe, you will feel at home immediately.
Following a shower or bath, using branded toiletries, wrap yourself in a soft towel and then curl up in a fluffy bathrobe whilst you decide whether to go out to a local restaurant for dinner or to stay in and cook in the well appointed kitchen. You will find ice in the freezer for that pre-dinner tipple.
Later, sink into your supremely comfortable bed, made up with luxurious, hotel quality, cotton bedlinen, as you head into the Land of Nod.
In the morning, your Nespresso machine will provide you with the first coffee of the day or perhaps you prefer tea made in a proper teapot? Either way, the necessities will be provided for you to get the morning started at your own pace.
Despite being the third smallest city in the UK, Ripon has plenty to offer, with the imposing Cathedral, and a wide variety of museums. Ripley Castle, Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Gardens are all close by.
There is a good selection of restaurants and pub/wine bars in and around the market square, just a five minute walk from your apartment, or you can venture further afield to one of the local villages where there are some excellent pubs or perhaps to the buzzing metropolis of Harrogate which has many restaurants as well as the famous Royal Baths and Betty's Tea Rooms. Do feel free to ask for our recommendations.
We are, of course, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and close to the Dales, beautiful in the summer but they can be impressively forbidding in the winter (think Cathy and Heathcliff). Bronte country is not far away.....
Castle Howard and Harewood House should be on everyone's list of "places to visit", whilst for the horse racing enthusiast Ripon, Thirsk and Wetherby Racecourses are all nearby.
A stunning day out in God's Own Country is guaranteed, whatever time of the year and whatever the British weather deems appropriate.
Back in your apartment after a busy day exploring you will find all the essentials like a dishwasher, washer/dryer even an iron and ironing board (if you really must - you are on holiday after all) and a hair dryer in your bedroom.
Drop into a comfortable sofa and relax in front of the large TV.
You may choose to watch something on Netflix, perhaps read one of the books provided, or play a game?
There is, of course, hi-speed free wifi throughout the apartment so that "extremely important" email will not be missed.
Whatever your reason for coming to Ripon, we hope that your accommodation will be one of the highlights.

Further FOC on-street parking is also available just a few minutes walk away.
