"I recently stayed at this hotel that is nestled in the middle of a forest, creating a cozy and local atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. The ambiance of being surrounded by nature was a refreshing change.
However, I found the bed to be slightly uncomfortable, which affected the quality of my sleep. Despite this, the price was reasonable for the location and amenities offered. One downside was the internet speed, which was not very...

Vacation Home 'La Cuevita De Hilario' with Mountain View, Private Terrace and Private Garden
4/10 Poor
"First, the communication with the host in English was very good. The description of the cueva was close to the pictures but incomplete and misleading. We could not have figured out that every room had a separate outdoor access, therefore a total of 5 different keys with no identification of which door it opened. After 15 minutes of struggle with the different locks which were in dreadful conditions, we finally figured out that only the kitchen and main bedroom communicated. The metal entrance doors to every room consisted of welded angle iron and heavy gage sheet metal welded to the iron. Unwieldy and unsightly. Doors the separate bathroom and kitchen/ bedroom were in dismal condition, difficult, noisy and jammed, so much so that we were locked out and had contact the owner after 15 minutes of struggling with the main room lock, incapable of accessing the unit where we had all our belongings and car key. Not sweet, stressful as the owner was not answering phone call. After finally reaching him on WhatsApp message, his instructions failing, he sent a friend over to let us in.That was successful but totally unacceptable as a cable had to be attached to the latch mechanism. We confirm we were in and not pleased with the system that unbeknownst to us, one had to get outside the main living space to access the bathroom from the outside. No hot water in kitchen. Wish we would have known, being seniors, poor accommodation even though it was just for one night. "
