"We really enjoyed our stay here! My family wanted to explore Garner State Park, and this was a great option that was about twelve minutes away. It was a great place to retreat to after a full day of hiking! One of the bedrooms (the one with the angled ceiling) is a loft style, and my niece adored it! She could watch My Little Pony on the big living room tv from the comfort of her bed while the adults played games at the kitchen table below. It was great for our needs! The living room itself...

"We had a wonderful stay here with family and our 2 dogs. The kitchen had everything that was needed for cooking. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The view on the porch was beautiful and relaxing! We saw a few deer out front one evening. The host was nice with good communication. We would definitely stay here again! "

"We loved everything. We played pickleball, kayaked on the river, enjoyed all of our meals outside under the big oak trees and marveled at the stars by the firepit at night. I only have a few suggestions: the outside table and bar were dirty. The bar table had a huge pile of rocks on it and was covered in leaves and dust and there were no fire pit tools. But these were just minor things and did not cause us to lose any relaxing time. I think a small table top jenga game would be a nice touch...
