"It was a wonderful stay. Great location. Very clean room with a beautiful view of the mountains!! All hotel hostesses were very friendly especially Jordan, she was extremely helpful and made our stay more enjoyable. She offered excellent customer service. We truly appreciate her hospitality."

"If you are into new, this hotel is not for you. We stayed here because it transported us back to a simpler time. The decor and vibe take you back to the 1920s and the history of v this hotel is great. The artifacts, furniture, lobby and bar also beckon to the early 1900s. The bed was very comfortable and the TV worked great. We were in a double room with a Jack-n-Jill bathroom. Note: There was no refrigerator so we had to keep some things on ice in a cooler. The bar service was excellent. I would recommend sitting at the bar and getting a drink and imagining Teddy Roosevelt laughing alongside you. Tip: get reservations and make the grueling 1,289 step advent to Hanging Lake (only 10 minutes away). The Lake is so beautiful on a sunny day that you won't believe it."

"I loved the Banff Aspen Lodge. The hotel was comfortable, well-located, and offered a good value. The Banff Aspen is in downtown Banff (on the main street), about a block away from the shops (super-convenient). The hotel offers complimentary parking. The room was comfortable, clean, and looked new. I had a room in the main building (there are rooms where you had to go outside, I think). There was a small fridge, Nespresso, hot water pot, and a safe in the room. There is a microwave available for guest use near the lobby. The staff said there is coin laundry in the building. Breakfast was excellent. The spread didn't change much from day to day, but it was very good and the breakfast staff were amazing. I loved the mini muffins, fresh fruit, and fancy-ish oatmeal. Front desk staff were great. Tyler (who checked me in) was excellent. There's a coffee shop at the hotel (apart from the breakfast) which was super popular (so it must be good, right?). Wifi was a little pokey at times. There was little internal / external noise except for the train horns (sort of annoying). I went in October and the prices were a good value. I would book this hotel again for sure."
