Room smelled damp/musty with flowery deodorizer scent on top. Security hasp was broken, light in the bathroom was without a bulb, broken bath tile and very noisy heat pump requiring earplugs to sleep. Carpet felt damp and popcorn ceiling was peeling in a couple spots near the slider door to the outside. King bed had obvious sagging in the mattress from use; overdue for replacement. "

The room was very clean with all lamps and bathroom fixtures working properly. This is an older property, and I keep my expectations reasonable. "House was clean, host communication was great. The people renting the other side of the duplex were loud after midnight. Not great, but Host cannot be held liable for that. Didn't like that there was no on site parking as stated, just in the street which we were uncomfortable with. Neighborhood just gave off and "unsafe" vibe. Put my son on edge."

"We were on a cross-country road trip and needed a place to sleep for a night. The property is old, but fun and full of nostalgia. The rooms were clean as were the linens. Great if you like a vintage motel, but not if you're looking for a 4-star experience. "
