"A unique property with its own fascinating, and sometimes dark, history. The design of the building is strikingly elegant. For the first time, I enjoyed a hotel room with a ten-foot ceiling, casement windows and four-ply toilet paper (good for wiping or a rough draft of your memoirs. The staff was friendly and attentive. "Quirky hotel - very modern design with lime green everywhere. Room was shall we say different. Shower right next to the bed and full glass so might be a bit awkward depending on who you are sharing the room with. Also had a bath the shape of a stiletto shoe (lime green of course and lit up at night). If you are ok with that then the room was fine. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Short walk to main train station and a tram stops right outside. Would definitely stay here again. Leipzig is a lovely city."
