The stay was great! Room clean and in a great location. However, they don’t adhere to the do not disturb sign and the cleaner helped themself to my friend’s driver license and two of her credit cards and has been having a great time charging purchases on her card.

Nice and comfortable in excellent location. Lots of stairs to climb. Lots of security with many locks. Checking in was a little cumbersome as we did not get code unless we gave passport info - we did not feel comfortable giving that info ahead of time as we did not know if it was a secure method vis email. Did not have what’s app so that did help.

Una excelente atención, incluso tuvieron la amabilidad de guardar mis maletas el último día después del check out, y brindarme servicios de baños . Muy conforme Si debe considerarse que el desayuno se debe realizar en un café distante a una cuadra del hotel , pero que no afecta en nada el servicio que ofrecen. La ubicación es muy buena.

Toppenläge i Rom B&B

Toppenläge för den som vill turista i Rom. Nära till allt. Rummen var trevliga och rena, bra aircondition, badrum med dusch och det fanns vatten och juice i minibaren som ingick. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Men - det är ett B&B och när vi checkade in så var skatten högre än vad som står på hotels.com hemsida vilket blev, vad som kändes som en onödig, diskussion med personalen. Det finns heller en reception på ”hotellet” utan man måste ringa för att de ska möta upp och släppa in gästerna. Likaså finns ingen bar eller frukost på hotellet utan man får en kupong till närliggande café där det serverades italiensk enkel frukost. Vi är nöjda men tycker att informationen på hotels.com kunde varit tydligare med att det är ett B&B och att skatten skriva ut rätt.

lovely stay

My flight won’t arrive until late and Leo is very helpful and wait for me to check it. He is very nice and helpful. He gave me a map and showed me different attractions and how I can visit them. Lots of good suggestions from him. The room and bathroom has decent size. Clean and neat. Great location. Within 5 mins walk to Spanish steps.

Golden rooms Rome

This is a small hotel that occupies one floor in a building with other tenents. There is no staff there most of the time. I was given 3 keys. One to enter the building one for the hotel entrance and the other for my room. I would compare this place to pensiones I stayed at years ago. Parking is a block away in a garage. The room was small the bed was ok an the bathroom was quite nice with a large shower. The location is very convenient near the Spanish steps. Overall not a bad option for travellers on a budget.

Comfy bed and tasty coffee

The room was good for people who are quite intimate (curtain for a shower room door but the toilet was in a proper wc). The shower room was small but still functional (maybe not if you're very large), the small sink meant water ended up on the floor when I washed my face, it could be made a bit better by a bigger mirror and having a few hooks for clothes and towels (there was only one towel bar and a small unsteady shelf). More furniture in the room would be appreciated, such as a desk and another chair (there is enough space for it). There was a Nespresso coffee machine (2 regular and 2 decaf) and a small fridge in the room with some biscuits, juice and water. There are no blackout curtains so it can get bright in the room, fyi to bring your eyeshade if light bothers you. Also bring your earplugs; the noise from the street is stopped by the excellent windows however the noise of other guests coming and going in the hall is loud (no door insulation). Fortunately we didn't hear anyone else whilst they were in their rooms, only in the corridor. The bed was very comfortable, some kind of memory foam I think, sufficiently firm but with a lovely soft top. The pillow was the most comfortable pillow I have ever used (medium firm, I'm a side sleeper) and perfectly matched the suppleness of the mattress and I had a great sleep both nights of my stay. The breakfast was basic Italian of croissant, coffee, and juice (6-11am, a half a block away in cafe lembo) and was pleasant.
