Conveniently located by the train station, on the East side of Rome. Lots of restaurants and sites nearby. Rooms are a bit small but were clean and okay for a short stay.
The Mary Ellen is convenient to the Termini train station, near many restaurants and the Basilica Maria Maggiore. What puts it over the top for me is how friendly and genuinely helpful the staff are to their guests. Plus a generous breakfast is included. I used the hotel as the base for a two month trip, going back and forth four times. They stored my suitcase. Always met me with a warm smile upon my return.
Excellent location near the termini and therefore easy to get to from and return to the airport. Also being near the Termini access to the subway and the buses It’s a two star hotel that’s clean, has an elevator and air conditioning
A nice budget hotel close to Roma termini which makes for easily getting around the city and/or to other cities. I’ve heard complaints abt AC in Rome but their AC was really nice & cold + great WiFi! Breakfast was lackluster so I would skip. Cleanliness was okay. Nothing awful but not amazing either. For blankets, it looked like they had given curtains lol but the staff was very sweet and helpful & again, the AC was amazing for Rome. I’d book here again! Reliable and safe. Cool stuff to do around the area and lots of shops open late. Just be smart walking around
The hotel was well located close to the train station and about a 30 min walk to the archeological sites. The room is basic, bathroom very small but has what you need. There is a small elevator , which was good, since our room was on the 5th floor. The breakfast was plentiful with excellent coffee.
This hotel was very much as advertised. It was exactly what we needed for our Rome tourism trip. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful. The room was cozy and elegant. There were some basic maintenance things like a burnout light and some plumbing fixtures in need of descaling, but these had no impact on the enjoyment of our stay. They were very quick to replace the light bulb.
staff very nice, single beds to small, bedroom clean and bug

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was clean and safe to stay in for one night for an inexpensive room. The surrounding area did not look very safe late at night for me as a solo, female traveler.
The gentleman who checked me in and messaged me was amazing. So kind and welcoming. Thank you!
