The place was centrally located which was great and easy to get to popular sites. Plus a pharmacy and grocery store were very close. The only problem is the noise with being centrally located. One room was right above the street and the night life was very loud nightly and hard to sleep, then early morning was woke up to glass being picked up by the garbage company. The rooms were nice and the place was clean, bathroom is huge with washer and dryer.

Location, location, location!

A perfect place for exploring the historical part of Rome, just steps away from the famous Piazza Navona. The host was very responsive, check-in was a breeze. The nearby streets can be a bit noisy at night due to the foot traffic and proximity of restaurants but this was never a problem. Lots of dining and shopping options around, a Carrefour store just a few blocks away. All major sites are within walking distance.

Wonderful stay

My family and I stayed during our visit to Rome and were very happy with Danielle’s apartment. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us, good facilities, and a great location. I would recommend staying here if you want to be centrally located to the major sites and in the middle of great eating and night life.

Location is good

The apartment is sparsely and uncomfortably furnished, and it didn’t invite staying for long. As mentioned in the previous reviews, the location is ideal in one way, but very noisy in another. The communication and check-in went smoothly.

Great location - Piazza Navona.

We had a great stay here. It is steps from Piazza Novona and made out sightseeing very easy via walking and/or finding taxi right nearby. My only feedback would be for families with younger kids, the area is very active at night and the sounds of the city (people, music, parties) were quite loud. If you are looking for a quiet place, I would suggest looking further away from some top sites. But...if you want to be right in the action and have a lively, easy access spot from which to explore Rome, this is perfect.

Me and 5 of my friends decided to stay here for spring break, and it was absolutely wonderful! We are all 19/20 and thought it was perfect! The location is great and the host was friendly and quick to respond when we needed him!

Fantastic location

We had an amazing time. The property was very central and walking distance to the main sites of Rome. We ate at some of the local restaurants which were superb. We booked transport through the property which was very easy. Would definitely recommend.

AmazIng location

This is was the perfect place for easy access to all the tourist spot! Check in was easy! We could walk to everything we wanted to do. It is on a busy strip of Rome so at night it is loud till well after midnight and the garbage comes early. But for a group of friends exploring Rome and loving it up it didn’t bug us.

Amazing location

Overall, this was a great find! Apartment is on the second floor so easy to carry up luggage. Each bedroom has its one A/C head so those rooms were very comfortable in the August heat. Antonio was very helpful and made our check in process simple and straightforward. As previously mentioned in other reviews, the two front bedrooms are noisy due to street noise and restaurant traffic. That being said, we would stay here again.

Fabulous location and excellent hosts in a busy part of the old city.

The apartment was great for our group of 5. We were 4 young women aged 18-21 and myself (their mom/aunt, aged 54). Location was very convenient for walking to major sites and restaurants. And the hosts could not have been better - truly. Check in was very efficient and hosts were always quick to respond to questions. Only challenge was the noise at most hours- but we knew this would be the case based on other reviews. It is unavoidable in such a central location. With ear plugs and white noise apps on our phones we could sleep just fine. Just for the info of other travelers, the power was also a bit of a challenge as one had to be careful not to overload circuits with too many appliances at once. We were warned about this by our hosts however and once we followed the instructions properly and got used to it, we had no problem at all. Overall we are very happy we stayed at this apartment - it was clean rooms were spacious for Europe and very good value compared with other rentals in this location, and the outstanding hosts outweighed any small inconveniences for us.

Great stay. I can sleep through noise so it was no problem, but it can get very loud due to the restaurants downstairs. Even with the windows closed. Check in staff was very nice and tried his best to get to us even though there was a fire that delayed our stay. Responsive. Lights did go out, but it makes sense due to the age of the building. Simple switch downstairs fixed the problem. Thanks for the great stay!

Great location, but incredibly loud and dingy

Apartment is well-located, a block from Navona square, which is great. However, from 9pm to 2 or 3am, it is impossible to sleep in either of the two rooms besides the street, and the back room smells like grease from a restaurant. Does not matter if the windows are closed, it is loud regardless. The curtains are useless and flimsy and do not block the light. Absolutely do not recommend for families or anyone who needs a decent night's sleep. The photos are not really an accurate representation, it is dark and dingy and charmless. The best thing about the place is the location.

Recent Stay in Rome

The stairwell was scary - dark and decrepit. I wouldn’t feel safe coming home alone at night. The apartment reeked of smoke AND, despite using the washing machine, we left with all of our belongings reeking of smoke. Many of our items will be tossed upon return home. There was A/C but you couldn’t run them plus the washer, dryer or hair dryer together because doing so would blow the fuse. Location was good but loud. I would not recommend based on smell alone.

The Perfect Home Base in Rome

We loved our stay in this apartment near Piazza Navona! Friendly and helpful Adriano kindly offered early check-in and acquainted us with the apartment and area. Some initial paperwork and some extra fees to be aware of at check in. Three comfy bedrooms, two with big beds and one with two singles, were perfect for our family of 4. A fully equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom with washer and dryer, sitting room with sofa and table for 4 made for a perfect home base! Yes, the two front rooms hear the late night revelry from the street but you are in Rome…bring earplugs and a sound machine 😊 The water/dryer were a bit tricky simply because I don’t speak Italian, but worked great. Shower door leaked but I believe is being fixed. We walked everywhere from the apartment: Vatican City, Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Borghese Gallery, Palatine Hill, Aventine Keyhole & beyond. Walked 20,000-27,000 steps daily! Bring comfy shoes! Plenty of places to eat right outside the door and on every charming cobblestoned street. A note for non-walking travel: “FreeNow” is the app to use for booking taxis but be warned they often accept then cancel.
