I preface this with our flight was cancelled so we had to stay an extra night in Rome and our really nice hotel was booked. Considering the reviews on this one, it wasn’t as bad as expected. However the hallways are very dark and hot, rooms are really outdated and smell like disinfectant. Beds super hard and sheets smell like moth balls. It was all dealable until the morning when we had zero hot water. Like not even lukewarm. I’m talking freezing. In a pinch it was fine but should have been 1/3 the price at best.

Great Location, many fabulous restaurants nearby. staff were friendly and courteous. Room was spacious. However, to be honest, it was a little too gruggie and probably in need of a deep clean or a paint makeover. Otherwise fine.

This was a really depressing place to stay even though the location was good. A lot of dark corridors with unfinished floors, huge bags of laundry in the hall for days, also garbage. My room had a skylight but no windows. I have stayed in Rome seven times and this was the worst. I kept the score slightly high because the staff was nice

Electricity and power were out. I only had the hotel for a very brief time to rest comfortably and shower before a long flight. Which you can’t do without WATER and ELECTRICITY - was 85F at night with no AC. Shouldn’t have paid for this.

Hotel is a cute mix of rustic and modern touch. High ceilings give the rooms a sense of space. Housekeeping was very good. The location (a hop from the fountain) was very practical since you are in the heart of one of Rome's tourist section. Getting to the other parts is very easy from this hotel since the subway and/or bus lines are a few minutes walk. My only suggestion would be to add a little more choices to there breakfast provided....it was a bit limited. All in all, a great place to stay if you are visiting Rome

Overall a great stay! The hotel is in an absolutely prime location! Right in the heart of the old city, pretty much all the major attractions of Rome are in walking distance, from the Vatican to the Colosseum, you'll have no issues walking out the front door and going wherever you'd like. The area around the hotel is absolutely bustling and its absolutely surrounded by different shops and restaurants. The night life is great too, if you're into that! The staff at the hotel were also extremely helpful. I ran into an issue while on my travels and the hotel did absolutely everything they could to help me. I was extremely impressed! Overall very happy with my choice to stay here.

The room has mold in the corner of the door and the AC despite being on the correct temperature, it was hot inside and was not cooling at all. He has to sleep with no covers of how hot it was inside. The room had a strong smell of cigarettes.

Very disappointed with this hotel. The pictures look very different from reality. My room was dusty, even the phone had old dust, dirty and even stained walls, they obviously don’t clean well or often. The doors don’t close properly, the “pretty terrace view” from the pictures look nothing like the real thing. Bags of laundry in the hallway and even the reception was poor looking, I didn’t see the “luxury” part anywhere to be honest, very unimpressed, wished I could get my money back.
