"This is the second time we have stayed at Jasmine Cottage. It is cosy and comfortable with all that you might need for a March visit to the Lakes.
The sunroom is a lovely extra space."

"We've been going to Keswick 2x each year staying at self catering cottages for the last 16 years and Daisy Cottage is by far the best ones we've stayed in.
Great location
High spec facilities
Parking (it's a bit of a squeeze but we've managed)
Comfortable heating
2 bathrooms
Very very clean"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage and would highly recommend it to families or 2 couples. Well stocked, clean and comfortable with well thought out furnishings. Good kitchen for cooking and the extension at the back was great for walking gear and loved the underfloor heating! Very helpful and friendly staff too."

"A lovely flat, I was very impressed particularly with how clean it was - as someone with severe food allergies such a clean kitchen was a dream. Brilliant location and lovely decor too."

"Booked this property along with the upstairs property for a party of 10 ladies! Was very impressed with the close proximity to the town centre, ideal for a short stroll into town and to the lake!
The property had everything required, with attention to detail for even the small things like tin opener, grater etc!
Everything was immaculate and very cosy! We particularly loved the outdoor patio area with a perfect sun spot late into the evening! We would 100% recommend this property!"

"Our stay at Grandy Nook was fabulous. Although the apartment is in the centre of town and in a great location it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The apartment was very spacious and light and spotless. It has everything we needed and the parking space is a huge bonus. Highly recommmended."

"Badly needs bringing into the 21st century. No air conditioning in the rooms, and basic TVs with only Freeview. Need to change to smart TV or at least be able to Chromecast. Rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping unless you ask and when i did on 1 occasion they still didn't do it. I reminded them on reception after waiting 6 hours but still never turned up. In the end i knocked on housekeeping door to get fresh towels myself!
Cooked breakfast was nice but very limited options for continental. Just natural yoghurt, no flavoured ones , especially nothing for our 5 year old daughter. Meats and cheeses was a tiny selection.
I also personally think it's wrong to charge guests £15 a day to park your car. You know we all arrive by car so either just include in the price or don't do it. Bit annoying when checking out to be reminded I owe another £45.
Staff were lovely as usual but you can tell they have cut back on the numbers.
We stay there because of the location and the staff. I just wish you updated the rooms and the sofa bed in our family room is so uncomfortable it should be thrown out. Awful piece of furniture. For £260 a night i think your guests deserve more."
"Despite the renovations going on, our stay was not affected. The room was lovely with a great view of the lake, thr view from the restaurant and balcony were amazing, The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to visit again."
"Beautiful hotel in a great location at the top of the town.
Pool and spa facilities were great.
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Would definitely recommend."
"Staff were great really helpful, hotel is in a fab location would stay here again! Loved the family
Room. Swimming hours for children if staying for one night was tricky as check in 4pm and children can’t swim past 5pm and can swim after 10:30am the next day but check out 11. Other than that great stay thanks!"
"Customer service in the restaurant was amazing lots of different selections off food to choose from.
Spa was lovely shame robes weren’t available In the room though. £1 coin needed for the lockers which I hadn’t realised. The rooms are very clean the bed was so comfy great nights sleep "
"Another amazing stay at the Lakes Hotel and Spa! We were upgraded on arrival and had a room with a lovely hot tub! We were also picked up in the Bentley as we walked back to the hotel at night time- the staff really can’t do enough for you and the cocktails are amazing!"
"The staff member we met on arrival couldn’t of been nicer! Very warm welcome. Room was perfect, very clean, quiet and comfortable bed.
“Spa” was not quite what we expected. A 20m swimming pool with a"
"Lovely hotel in a great location with a balance between feeling part of the village and being private/secluded. Solid breakfast, clean room and a nice, small spa"
"Nice hotel in a lovely setting. Our lakeside view double room was very spacious and comfortable but a little bit dated. With only one window it made the room very dark and the room lighting options weren’t very good. You had to have every light on in order to look in the wardrobe or use the vanity table , which made the room far too bright. The bathroom was ok but needed hooks on the back of the door to hang wet towels or Bath robes . Food and drink at the hotel was very expensive and over priced for what it was. The spa facilities and swimming pool were modern and in good order and my daughter was delighted with the Swedish massage that you had.
The biggest problem that we had was the poor facilities at the hotel for charging electric cars. I have a hybrid car which needed charging every day but the hotel wanted £25 per day to use their charger. I fully charged my car in a town car park for £6 which is about the going rate for public chargers but was very inconvenient as it meant we had to stay in one place for too long. I would have preferred to charge overnight at the hotel. The hotel needs to install two or three charging points from one of the many companies that now supply them or get the council to install public charging points in the two public car parks at the front of the hotel. The one I used at the car park in Grassmere operated by Fuuse was very good and I would recommend it.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside and the staff were friendly & helpful."
