"The woman at check-in/check out was very friendly and personable. The room was adequate and clean but the air conditioning was struggling which made it too warm and humid. There were no towels or face cloths in the room. And only one tissue left in the tissue box. We had to ask twice for towels and got the last two apparently which was great so we could shower in the morning. Breakfast was good really enjoyed the pancake machine. Staff in the breakfast area were polite and helpful. We didn’t use any amenities so I really can’t say anything about them. I would stay there again."

"Had a wonderful stay here! We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely recommend. We could barely hear anything from any other room during our stay which was great. Staff was super helpful whenever we needed something for our room as well as helping fix our keycards. The only thing downfall of our stay was that we never woke up in time for breakfast as it ended at 930, not the hotels fault though, we we're on vacation so we chose to sleep in late! 5 stars, would definitely stay again!"

"Staff made sure we had whatever we needed to enjoy our stay. reasonably priced for the area. There's no hair dryers in the room but was given one from the front desk to use during our stay. Just need to ask. Extra towels were given as needed. We were 4 in the room. The room was clean, very spacious with 2 queen beds, 1 single and a pullout couch. A microwave, mini fridge also in the room. Window A/C can be put on auto with set temperature available. Even though we didn't use the restaurant the menu was reasonably priced. Lots of amenities close by like. Short drive to the wharf if you enjoy sightseeing, There's a pontoon boat available at the wharf to see the area by water for a cost. There was music in the evenings at the wharf."

"It is on a river so we could watch boats cross, has a screened area and a propane firepit. Only critic is that we didn't know there were 2 levels until after we booked, were on the 1st level and the group of 3 women that were in the 2nd level had one who was heavy footed so we heard the stomping in the morning and late evening....lucky for us they were gone most of the day. Other than that, perfect relaxing stay. Lovely accommodations and very nice owners!"

"It's a beautiful property and every aspect is so well thought out. We loved the kitchen was fully stocked with any equipment you need (Keurig and Nutribullet included), as well as the directions where to buy eggs from the local farmer. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat :)"

"The Governor's Mansion Inn was amazing. On a two week road trip and this was, by far, the best stay at the most beautiful home. Filled with rich history and gorgeous antiques. We stayed in the Governor’s Lady’s room which was warm and welcoming, it had an adjoining sun porch to watch the sunset over the Miramichi River. A must stay!"
