The room is huge… given that it’s a service apartment. The washer and dryer made a lot of difference to our trip at Rusutsu. The area is clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Mountain View is definitely amazing, especially during winter. While it is a bit of distance from the main resort area, it is walkable (or you can just drive there if you have a car) and sheltered all the way from the Vale to the main resort area. Will stay here if I were to come to Rusutsu again.

Very nice hotel/condo. Convenient to the slopes, on site onsen was very clean and easy to access. Bit of a walk to dinning options, but nice in room pizza and a small cafe near by. Excellent hotel, but connected to monstrous resort

This place is fantastic - new, large rooms, extra features like washer and dryer and dishwasher. Only problem: The monstrous old resort next door made for mass tourism and endless tour buses hauling in thousands of guests. The two properties are connected but couldn’t be more different. They don’t fit to each other at all. The “town” itself has two convenience stores, that’s it. But the actual hotel itself is very, very nice. No restaurants in the hotel though, only next door at the resort (mass food).

Beautiful room, but... only one electrical outlet in kitchen, so had to keep unplugging the coffee maker to plug in the tea kettle, what a horrible design! beautiful views from the window. Comfortable beds. Front desk staff was fantastic! Food was expensive. Easy in and out to skiing

I have booked for 4 nughts, the place was good just the only complaint is that when i requested for extension for two more nights on my next day there they really give me a price that is too crazy high and was asked to checked out first then wait till 3pm to do a check in again which the room is still on the same floor so I decided not to take.

There isn’t enough to say about Vale Rusutsu. I was only there for two nights, and travelling solo, but it was great. The mountain is right outside the ski lockers. The breakfast, which is just a short walk through the Rusutsu Resort Hotel. The rooms are huge! Plenty of room for two to three people, let alone one. And of course the staff are wonderfully friendly. I hope to return here soon.

Awesome customer service

The customer service at the Vale is one of the best parts. We were especially impressed when the staff arranged a complimentary shuttle for us to our dinner spot due to the unavailability of taxis. Jo, the friendly and helpful driver from Germany, was a friendly driver and great conversationalist! The spa is one of the best that I've ever been to. Loved how it was also clean, and had long hours. Rooms are very modern + great views. Loved the in-unit washer/dryer. Highly recommend.

The room was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it was good. Unfortunately the breakfast rooms were at least 500 metres away, I was in the South wing and all the breakfast places were in the North wing. Because the hotel is so huge with many different levels and many special areas it was initially difficult to actually find the breakfast rooms. On my last day the breakfast was not available because the South wing closed the day before I left. Pretty inconsiderate of management to not consider guests still in the North wing!!!
