Great place to stay. To just visit or while you’re visiting your kids at college. The Vine inn the safe quiet close to the campus and mins away from downtown and all the different restaurants and little shops. A+++

Wonderful place. I e stayed here over 100 times. It’s very clean, great staff close to everything, shops restaurants the farmers market and and quiet with cozy beds and rooms. A++

We loved our stay. It's a no frills hotel, but it was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and in very close walking distance to downtown and the campus. Breakfast was perfect for us - good orange juice, yogurt, egg muffin sandwiches. Very pleasant staff.

I hesitate to review the Vine and allowing the secret out. The rooms are comfortable and on par with many 4 star business hotels. The lack of pool and associated food option unfairly penalizes a wonderfully comfortable inn.

Nice clean room and bathroom. They had large thick bath towels which were great. The breakfast offered a nice selection of cereals and baked goods. Since I am gluten free, I was glad that I had my own bagel. I could use their cream cheese and jelly. I would stay here again

The room was clean (although smelled a bit chemically) and thoughtfully decorated. I love the downtown location of this Inn. The breakfast room has a nice assortment of juices, breads, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, milks, etc. Parking is easy and staff friendly. On the downside, the heater runs constantly and is quite loud and neighborhood gardeners started with their leaf blowers just before 7am Saturday morning along with dumpster trash pick ups and the noise was VERY loud. I’ve stayed here twice now and next time will request a room not on the street. Overall it’s a very nice place to stay in Davis.

The room was clean and OK, along with the property in general. The workers were helpful and the free breakfast area was nice. We were woken up either after midnight or around 7am three of the five days by noisy people in the parking lot, noisy cars, and the garbage truck. One day there was workers on the street with a leaf blower that started at 6:30am and went until 8am.
