"Our stay at the Ocean Lodge Resort was very pleasant. We were taken back by the view of the ocean from the room's balcony and rooftop terrace. The Housekeeping staff was very warm and friendly and made our stay exceptional. Kudos to Mrs. Star, Mrs. Minnie, Mrs. Dream, the rest of the Housekeeping Crew and the entire staff for making our stay a memorable one.
The only complaint I would have to give is the misinformation on some of the web pages about the amenities of the stay. THEY DO NOT OFFER BREAKFAST (CONTINENTAL IN THE LOBBY OR AT THE RESTAURANT) OR LUNCH so be prepared to bring your own breakfast and lunch items to cook or go out somewhere to eat. They only offer dinner from 5 pm to 9 pm throughout the week. Menus were in the elevator but not sure why they were there unless there is brunch offered on the weekend. Our stay was from Wednesday to Friday so we didn't get to really experience that. I believe the restaurant is opened to the public but there is limited parking."

"We had a great stay. Very clean and in the heart of town. We enjoyed the Beach, pool, and also sitting out on the covered deck. Very comfortable beds, furniture, and deck seats. Great location and well maintained property. "

"Absolutely stunning! The house, view and location makes this one of the best stays on SSI. So much to do, we couldn’t decide what to do. I am especially missing my early mornings spent sitting up on the cozy top balcony listening to the changing tides and watching the huge ships roll by…suddenly appearing out of nowhere. What a thrill! We enjoyed fishing and walking the expansive beach at low tide. Lots of sitting out and swimming by water’s edge. Perfect location to watch fireworks. Owners were very accommodating and thought of everything. We hope to be back soon!!!"

"Beautiful property! Communication with the host was great! Loved the back yard pool area, and that the entire back yard was fenced. This allowed our dogs to enjoy vacation as well. The home is well stocked from the kitchen to items for you to enjoy on the beach. Beds were so comfortable! Location cannot be beat! You are a short walk to the village/pier area. We will definitely stay again at Mint Julep! "
