"The resort grounds are beautiful and the area has designated bike paths around the entire island. We parked our car and biked around island for 2 days. Loved the old time elegant feel of the resort but it needs TLC. Furniture/carpet and areas of hotel are dilapidated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed happy hours at The Wharf with great bar tenders. Shrimp were excellent! Quiet, relaxing and serene. "
