" This is a great, quiet hotel which also has an adults only area with pool for those that prefer. Location is wonderful, on the beach and has three places to eat, including a restaurant on their own private beach. We highly recommend the upstairs bar/restaurant - La Tortue which you do have to make a reservation but they are very accommodating. Excellent staff in this bar, very very professional and friendly. Special mentions to Agnelo, Abdou and Marco who are brilliant! The food was lovely...

"Accommodation is very dated. Website photos do not reflect the hotel. Many of the properties on the resort are old and dilapidated. Wifi in room was the worst I have experienced in the last 10 years and we was lied to about this. For example you will have Wi-Fi on the sofa but less than three metres away you can’t use Wi-Fi in the bed to make a phone call. It was that bad. It was explained as a blackout across Cape Verde however good internet in bar area and other parts of Sal. Friendly and...

"WELCOMING LOVELY FRIENDLY RESORT SPOTLESSLY CLEAN STAFF WERE A JOY FOOD A LITTLE MUNDANE NEEDED SOME MORE VARIETY AND ENTERTAINMENT WAS LIMITED BUT A MOST RELAXING STAY THE ONLY REAL DOWNSIDE WAS THE MOSQUITOS BITTEN ALIVE"
