After a very warm welcome, we were personally escorted to our room, where everything was explained—no need to read manuals. We were also offered coffee in the lovely coffee corner opposite the room. "Very clean. There is a nice little restaurant downstairs. The staff was most helpful. While there wasn't air conditioning in the rooms, it still remained relatively cool in the rooms, despite the heat outside. My only complaint is that I reserved a room for three days. I changed plans almost immediately and cancelled one of the rooms less than 24 hours later. The hotel said they would only charge me for the two days, but changed their mind and charged me for all three."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel des Alpes. The owner is so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner which he hosted and he had us laughing every time he came to check on us. The dinner was amazing, as was the local wine. Breakfast was also perfect. A lovely buffet with just enough to choose from, and everything was top notch.
