Excellent location on a pedestrian street. Easy access to train station and ferry port. It badly needs new carpets for the hallways.

The staff were really helpful, especially the young lady at reception, who organized a take away breakfast because we had an early train. Only complaint, our bed was very hard! Overall, enjoyed our stay & the location was great.

The location was excellent for us as we were so close to the ferrys and the location is in the middle of train station, old town, waterfront. The staff was also very helpful with all of our questions.

10 minute walk from the station, similar to the port where you catch the ferries and also about the same distance to the old town and restaurants. So it’s a brilliant location. My only criticism was the breakfast which definitely wasn’t 4*. Very basic in all respects for a 4* - that’s my only criticism. They need to improve that to be a true 4* otherwise a good choice.

Staff was friendly, however the hotel smelled of mould and we got given a room clearly infested with mould. They assigned us another room after our complaint but made us sleep in the mould infested room for a night. Location on spot and breakfast okay.

We booked Hotel Montestella after we arrived at a horrible unsafe and dirty VRBO and needed an emergency place to stay for the next 4 nights. This place was a life saver for us and so clean! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and am very grateful that there was a room available. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to my friends and family. Thank you so much!!!

The room is cozy, super clean, the breakfast is a standard buffet style. And it’s convenient to transport and entertainment. The only thing may improve is the space of bathroom, it is too small.
