Very welcoming host with a lovely inviting B&B with a great view!

Irina made me feel very welcome and comfortable during my stay! It was like sleeping on a cloud, the bed and pillows were so comfy. And such an amazing view from the room and its patio, with gorgeous sunrises and incredible view of the stars. I’d stay again!

Peaceful retreat in the woods, with a view

Quiet, restful and just the island retreat we needed. The host was excellent and there if we needed anything. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with anything me might have needed. The deck had a great view looking east to Galiano Island. The house is 13 minutes from Ganges and we regularly saw deer beside the road close to the house.

The host was wonderfull and had a lovely garden. The views are beautiful, but feels like i was mislead from the photos, a warning to all couples looking for privacy and romance, this is not the place for a quiet sensual getaway, thin walls, there are 3-4 small units crammed together, zero privacy on the deck, shared hot tub, long uphill driveway you have to walk to, bringing up luggage is a work out. Great for adventures that dont care about privacy.

Terrific Host Terrific Accommodations

Loved the location and beautiful landscaping. Irina was warm and accommodating. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. Very nice breakfasts! We enjoyed the vista and the stargazing from our deck.

A lovely base for touring Saltspring Island

We spent three nights here, and the central location was a good base for our tour of Saltspring’s many studios and natural attractions. The suite was very clean, modern and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Gulf Islands. The gardens are gorgeous. Our breakfasts were delicious and we very much appreciated our host’s flexibility in accommodating our dietary restrictions. Irina is a very kind, friendly and attentive host.

Beautiful, quiet location with great views from the balcony. I enjoyed being so close to Mount Maxwell so i could go for a hike inthe mornings. There is a lot of pride in Irina's home and you can see how hard she works to maintain her property. And the friendly little dog was a treat. Thank you for letting us share your home.

It’s a nice place and Irina is a good host. Our room was a bit tired: window didn’t open, only one outside chair and that not in good repair, plus small sofa. Kitchen amenities fine but no obvious place to plug things in so it seemed the microwave would have to be carried to the table for use. Never got more than a few inches of water in the bathtub. Bed comfortable. Location quite remote, so wonderful views but a bit far up gravel roads. Not very private on our balcony from active next door neighbours and another area. We were glad it was available for the days we needed but I wouldn’t go back.
