"This property is gorgeous and off the beaten track along a winding mountain road in a village with approx 25 inhabitants-so very good for an escape. Made up of traditional villas with comfy beds and shared pool. Easily drivable to beaches in abt 30 mins"

"This was an amazing trip, the location is really nice and quiet, close to national road to take you to Chania, lovely town close by called Armenoi with butcher, cheese monger and nice restaurants, close to Kalives with beach bars restaurants etc.
The host Stefanos is a lovely friendly man who will assist with any needs. He allowed us to check in nice and early and greeted us with a smile. He would come chat with us daily if he saw us sat outside. No noise at night which is amazing"

"The lounge offered a very culturally diverse breakfast bar or you could order from the breakfast menu as part of the included breakfast. The staff was out of their way helpful, and they are able to help with booking a car or other excursions on the island of Crete. They responded to all of our requests with grace, kindness and over the top accommodation. It is just outside of Chania city so quieter with big city comforts."
"Lovely villa, fantastic pool and garden area. Bit of a walk to Kalyves but downhill. Easy to get a taxi back up! Cleaner was great. Company very responsive via email. Would have liked some information about things in the villa and where to go to shop and eat, taxi services to use, things to do around the area etc. It would have been nice to have been left basics like bottled water, coffee, bread when we first arrived. "A great villa in a great location - if you are looking for peace and quiet. The views are amazing, the private pool was a total bonus. Great facilities, wifi for a 10 year old invaluable. Great kitchen equipment. The pool was cleaned during our stay and the local property team always at hand if required. Although they were not as the property was in great shape for our stay. Thank you all."

"Lovely, bright, spacious villa, beautiful views. Almyrida is a lovely town with plenty of great restaurants to choose from.We hired a speed boat from Antonis Boat Rentals which was a holiday highlight. Kera beach is only a 10 minute walk from the villa, not much sand, but a lovely dip in the sea"
"Great service from booking through to our 2 weeks - excellent to have the villa cleaned and new bedding and bath towels provided twice during our stay - pool cleaned and rubbish taken away regularly. We had an issue with the dishwasher on our first evening- by the next day we had been given a temporary one and a new one was installed a day later.The villa its self has the most amazing views through out the day - you can spend many hours relaxing around the pool. Lovely taverna within walking distance - beach with beach bar 15 min walk. Kalives has all you need to dine in or dine out. Once you have found the turning off the road to the villa your fine - first time can be a bit tricky but directions given are useful. We had an excellent 2 weeks and loved exploring a new area "
"We spent three lovely days at the villa up in the mountains. It was full of rustic charm and very peaceful (the only sounds in the evening were goats and birds!) The building has lots of history and has a pool and an en site convenience store which is really useful. The breakfast was incredible! It was served on the balcony of our room. I’d highly recommend that you have it when you stay! The owner is also very helpful and communicative. I had several questions throughout the stay and always received timely and informative responses. "
